The concept of part sharing between Maruti and Toyota is to optimise cost. There's nothing wrong with the switchgear used in Maruti cars... They are very functional and reliable. Eventually you get what you pay for ! Tata cars may be slightly better in terms of switches, but you get nagging issues... with Maruti and Toyota, you would never need to make random visits to the service centre....the chances are that you would never get stuck in the middle of a road !

I also feel issue of not closing front gate in Grand Vitaara.

Koi complaints nahi hain bas youtubers ke saath chakkar ye hai ki they have turned into property dealers (sale/purchase) jab tak ek gaadi bechenge nahi to dusri lenge kaise... i remember his other videos too... in a maruti suzuki car u can complain about light weight and cabin noise but u can never complain about their switches, headlights, engine etc... switches might not look fancy but they are robust... kabhi kharab nahi hote

Don't you feel that you are sittng in a maruti as soon as sit in and the 1st thing you see is the steering wheel it makes you feel you're sitting in a Maruti rather than a Toyota, what is your take on that? I feel toyota overly lazy they could have different steering wheel and switches and the infotainment system for the hyryder to differentiate in from the gran vitara atleast for the top-of-line variants...

All these issues are negligible for me. At this cost 20L squeezed all cars in the market and this car is a boon in this price segment. I'm going for the booking. Thanks for the review. Pros: 4 cylinder engine, available in AT non hybrid as well, spacious, bigger and bold in size, good mileage. What else we need ? Also reliability of TOYOTA. ❤️

The door is not closing properly when the windows are closed because there will be an air pressure inside the car , in which opening the windows allow the door to close easily , next time close the door little harder , as the Toyota quality is good , it won't damage your car
