With these corrupt judges he had to do it. One judge scored it as a W for Joshua. Should be banned for lifetime from judging boxing fights.

AJ was not outclassed, he threw the heavier shots, caused the more hurt but just met a man who could take the hurt and ran out of gas after the ninth round. I still salute his performance, nothing to be embarrassed about.

@NuClear Motivations Aj is soooo boring, even for heavyweight at his near natural weight this guy does nothing but stay front foot heavy and never changes it up, guard up, never doing anything with his footwork, he literally expects to stand and throw with enemies and come out dominant off his strength in every match he's ever had

If AJ wasn't "too controlled" and has fought more with his heart and more passion, he could have won. He lacked of this and Usyk showed all of this. Both have boxing skills, but the speed and footwork split them into two very different boxers. Usyk has won even more rounds for me, after watching the fight again and looking very closely. Feldman, the judge who had AJ as the winner, is a joke or a paid shill.

Usyk is amazing. great style, technique and mobility. AJ the supremely gifted fighter limited only by his lack of creativity, every punch is so tight and clean, his stance and movement so text book and efficient, he needs a little swag in there, some finesse. he is so textbook its easy for a fighter as smart as Usyk to read him like one.

Usyk was just barely able to win the first bout, his stamina just holding out, but AJ was extremely passive in that fight. This fight AJ let Usyk come to him, counter punched well, and did some body work which forced Usyk to stop moving and scrap inside more in the 9th.

It's interesting that he did that in the tenth after playing possum in the ninth. I think he was just reading Joshua, then understood what he was going to do (try and bully Usyk) in the next round. Looking back at it. AJ just stood there and moved very little. When I watch Fury, Fury will actually move and adjust. TBH, I think Fury will win against Usyk. Yes Usyk is quick, no denying that, but fury quick enough and got a big enough gas tank to keep up with him. When you got a guy bigger than you and also has speed(not as much as you but enough) and a gas tank to go 12 rounds, the reach advantage is enough to win fights. AJ had a size advantage but didnt have the speed or gas tank to have an advantage against Usyk. But regarless of what the crazy Fury fans or Usyk fans say, it gonna be a tough fight for both men.Theres no Fury bulldozing Usyk and theres no Usyk running rings around Fury, it gonna be a tough fight for both guys.

I finally built-up the courage to watch this fight. Always knew Joshua (the bigger stronger STIFFER) fighter would be outclassed by the smaller quicker, FLUID Usyk - it was always going to be a problem. Frankly, AJ didn't do as badly as I feared - he can hold his head up high. His failing is where I know that Fury will succeed for sure - putting his weight on the little guy and making him carry the extra 260 pounds! Those legs will tire out quickly, and he will be there for the taking. I've literally seen Fury do it to a smaller guy before - some cruiser weight coming up to heavy who outboxed and outclassed Fury for like 4 rounds until the Gypsy King got tired of the dancing and just laid on the poor fella. It was over in 2 rounds after that. Poor geezer went back down to cruiserweight and was never heard from again.

Wow that was 1 of the greatest heavyweight title fights in recent memory. Just a chess match of technical skill and will power. I honestly wudda called it a draw. I truly couldn't see either guy clearly out pointing the other.. either way. Oleksandr is here 2 stay. Maybe Wilder or Fury is next. Maybe even Ruiz Jr. that'd b a fun shoot out of science versus brutality

Great respect for these two fighters. Well deserved BUT Tyson Fury would have a field day with either of these two. He would've picked them apart. Probably would've knocked AJ out & frustrated Usyk & outpointed him.

Honestly my feeling was that Usyk intentionally covered up in the 9th round. He knew AJ had to do something now in order to win the fight so he let him empty his gas tank, I didnt really see him in big trouble. After that the last 3 rounds were just a formality for him. Nonetheless great fight! Respect for both fighters

I was rooting for Usyk but honestly AJ's gas tank failed him. He made great adjustments and the body shots were doing damage but Usyk outworked him. A more active jab and the gas tank to push in the later rounds and he could have won this fight

I swear AJ has really bad fight IQ it was very obvious that if AJ was going forward and throwing punches he was winning. I’m not even a fan of him I just think he honestly could’ve won this fight if he would’ve let his hands go when he had him hurt maybe he was trying to save energy or something but it was strange that he would hurt him and then back up.

you can clearly see AJs gameplan working here. Usyk looks way more fatigue and sloppy in the last rounds than in their 1th fight. Thats the direct cause of all this bodyshots. If AJ can pump up his cardio and work more in the later rounds, he can beat Usyk. In the 10, 11 and 12 round Usyk was way more open and less evasive then normal. Thats when AJ needs to let these hands go and start trying to hit the head more. If done correctly, he can even knockout Usyk since he has the weight advantage. But once thing is cristal clear to me. For this gameplan to work, AJ needs to work on his cardio intensively!!

I know a lot of people thought that Usyk was hurt in round 9, but he really wasn't. Play it back and see that in that barrage of punches Joshua threw, he only landed about 10 punches out of like 40, and even those were hardly effective. Usyk slipped and maneuvered his way past most of them and clinched up when he was backed into the ropes. His defensive responsibility is incredible.

@mike Ion Not saying his punches don't hurt, just saying that Usyk was by no means on the verge of death after the barrage of punches from AJ like the commentators seemed to think. Joshua looked like he only was comfortable throwing the straight shots, probably because he knows he’s not fast enough with looping shots.. it was way to easy for usyk to back out and readjust his angle, that’s why Joshua should have pressured him with a 1-2 looping shot. He had some succes with that in round 8 , but he’s way to passive for what he should be bringing to beat Usyk. Don’t see joshua regaining the title with the mindset he’s on right now

Joshua lost my respect in the last few rounds where he pushed and head locked Usyk to gain advantage. If all he did was those two things I wouldn’t be too perturbed. But AJ would then immediately try to punch after those actions which makes dirtier. Glad Usyk got the decision.

It might have looked like AJ had some promise after he beat the old guy Klitschko, but since then it has become clearly evident that he quickly runs out of talent when faced with boxers who know what theyre doing and take things seriously. Also, his big muscle strategy only really works when being capable enough to force KOs early in a fight. If he has to go the distance, he runs out of steam, as seen here when he could barely stand on his feet in the 12th.
