Extra tip regarding the locker; if a survivor is injured and hides in a locker, you can see the patch of confetti at the locker door. It will disappear for a split second but will always reappear right back in front of the door. It's basically a dead give-away if you're looking for it

i need like, the most basic tips because im so bad at being a hunter idk how i get juked easily and looped and when i do this as a surv i got chased in less than 60 secs i give up😭😭

oh great guide yuu!! i actually didn't know the first tip with the two closest ciphers, i just mechanically learn spawnpoints so thanks! also for future vids like this i hope you know there is a dual training mode in customs so you don't have to wait on your cooldowns and stuff 😭

one small subject i'd suggest is weaponizing survivors on balloon, some hunters have VERY dangerous carrying attacks that come out fast like bloody queen or have a very high hit range with little delay afterwards like jack and in the right circumstances you can easily down someone who's in a bad position en route to chair or at least get a free hit for a few seconds of struggle, probably not something to mess with (outright chasing with a balloon) for a hunter player until they develop a good internal clock for struggles though, but if someone's giving you a free hit or better, take it (have even double downed enchantress while also getting basement chair off her resetting balloon carrying) - the most obvious utility of this that's the least likely to cause problems of course being if survivors wait too long to rescue when you have someone downed near chair which would fall under more advanced camping

I once had a game where I successfully camped someone to timer death as bonbon without bombs just by hitting the chair constantly while having a different ballooned survivor. The lack of attack cooldown is so good.

@@chapface ye the moment someone is downed near a chair that's survivors' cue to not wait to rescue, chaired surv's imminent life loss (second stage) or death are not good combinations with ~16 sec of attack spam from the hunter - even if they struggle off the double down situation is kept or someone dies prematurely which is generally a loss for them

12:08 yes but for short hunters who have something that can make their character face another direction while moving another direction like soul weaver, axe boy etc then you can do red light mindgames where you mone walk using your abilities so you trick survivors into walking into cause they cant see you or your red light note this only works in high walls.

Im still confused to do slugging end game strat, like when i tp the exit gate is already opened, or i cant find the other surv, and by that time the surv being slugged self healed or crawl away and i lost them. i'd say i play very safely and just chair them, but sometimes i can reach the exit gate before its opened but im too scared JDHAUEUSHD thats why all i can do is just a tie (ik tie is good but i want to know the strat better!)

Thanks for the tips. I'm new to the game (I started like a month ago) and I'm currently trying be mainly a hunter. I have a question about this: is it better to main more than one hunter (if yes how many) or just one? For now I'm using Ripper only because I like the fog blade that can hit at a long distance.

I don't know if you still need the tip but yes, you need to know at most 3 hunters. This is due the fact that starting after Tier 3 survivors can ban 1 hunter and after tier 6 they can ban 2. Of course, this takes into consideration the ban rates. Especially in high tiers, you'll see almost the same hunters getting banned (as of the moment of this post, Opera Singer/Nigh Watch) so maining 1 or 2 hunters outside of them is good enough.

tbh just play whoever u like! i'd personally say it's good to have at least 2 mains, bc u wont be (imo) able to play with one character only for every single map, since each one has its own characteristics, and some hunters may be strong in some of them but weak in the others! i personally main night watch and fool's gold, nw when i know that theres a lot of open spaces in the map and fools gold if its the opposite, since ithaqua doesnt like close spaces, but i first started to main them bc i like them and then started to learn how to use them, so its rly up to u!

It’s good to main many hunters because they can all teach you something with the experience but if you rank I would say 3-4 because of certain team comps might be too hard for your two mains so have better picks ready imo

If u want a badge as a hunter,you probably just keep maining 1 hunter only.Just like me with violinist.I want to get his badge so i keep playing him in rank no matter what. Currently i got 2000 points with him.Im just aiming for his C badge and maybe in 3000 points finally i can get his C badge

For tip one, a perfumer spawned at a cipher behind me… so there is a chance that there will be at least one chilling where I am? Or is that not accurate?

Those spawns aren’t really common unless its moonlit

It was lakeside- the place with the small elevated boat with the cipher at the bottom (not the big boat). I spawned around the front and she spawned at the cipher behind 😭😭

The problem is i don't see how the cipher is shaking... I really can't see it, which means i have a huge trouble locating survivors in mid game

If ciphers don’t have like 30% they won’t shake

@@xiao1841 It starts at 30% and greater, cipher shake mostly at the tall line usually. and it will shake harsher and harsher the more progress on decoding there is
