Rotties don't deserve their reputation as a breed. They are so affectionate and loving. We are about to lose ours at 8 yrs. Terrible time Will miss her soooooo much.

What a terrific awesome video! Reminds me of my little boy that will be 11 on May 30, 2022. I got him as a rescue at around 12 weeks old. His favorite "fetch" toys were a partially deflated basketball and a 10 inch wheelbarrow tire. I never did get his tail cut or bobbed or whatever it's called. Tail up: Okay, Fun/play time, yes (go to the park/go for a walk or ride, or just plain Yes!) Tail down: I don't want to go inside/go home/stop playing having fun. Or just plain No. Rotts are such great, intuitive, understanding, extremely intelligent, protective, fun, high energy dogs! He started limping a few years back due arthritis. I came up with a formula of nutrients that I hive hom once daily, occasionally twice if the weather is going to be really cold and damp. He doesn't run as far as he used to, but we still play ball and walk to every day that's nice enough. Message me back if you want the formula. Made specifically for my rott. I'd be happy to share it with you, no charge. I haven't tried to make any money from it. I just love watching him play. I would really like to talk with you about yours, and mine. Maybe I can help you with yours as he ages. Rusty (my boy's name) helped me figure it out during the last several years. No more limping, still jumps up in and out of the car. I am retired and have a 125 female Rottweiler named Petra. She is 6 and my best buddy. She is Kind and loves people and attention. She is very protective of our property but delivery people have learned she is very friendly . Having said that I wouldnot try to invade our house at nite. She knows how to use her bulk and strength. She is VERY attached to me and follows me almost everywhere and does not Ike being left behind. My wife works a lot as a pharmacist so we are together much of the time and are very close. I do not know what I would do without her.she also gets along very well with our other small dog and 2 cats. If anything she likes to play with them when they let her.

Wonderful video. We’ve had two and the # 1 problem is their life expectancy. Sad but true. The gentle giants of dogs. Absolutely the best breed I’ve come to know and love. Very poorly misunderstood. Agree with all here : once a rotty owner always a rotty owner. Well done video by the way 👍

What a beautiful video! You clearly love your dogs. And they seem to be getting a lot of exercise, which is paramount. They also have a family atmosphere to depend on. Two things I've noticed and could be improved on are the following, but its only a remark : - Almost all rawhide bones you can buy on the marketplace are produced in China, where they use glue to make them compact and resistant enough to challenge your dogs. You should try to find an outlet that sells deer or elk antlers, that have been cleansed and sanded as to cause no bodily harm to your dogs. They're tougher, and contain no toxic elements. - You may want to slim him out a little. On some of the videos, he looks just fine, on others a little overweight. I suppose it just depends on how much exercise he's getting at the time. Feed accordingly. Anyhow, what a beautiful, happy dog he is. I wish they all had owners like you.
