@rainaiscrazy Sorry you had such a bad translator/guide. The host was really sweet and she wasn’t pressuring Raina to continue. She actually said “tell Raina you still have a lot of time, sit relax and take your time”. When Raina said she can’t, the host said “can you please tell Raina from me that we are all here today to have a good time and having fun is the most important, please don’t be sad”. The host was cheering for Raina the whole time and hoped she accommodated. Thanks Raina for all you do ❤ Much love from Australia

Raina, my respect for you grew exponentially watching you eat what looked like a fish head from the bowl to my left. Every time you bit into it, I felt my gut twist and go wonky. Almost hurled a few times. You are a beast. I am in awe of you. Raina, you are the queen.

Raina you are the queen of competitive eaters making such an effort in an adverse place is something that only you could pull off. As usual you gave the challenge your best effort and i commend you for eating so much of what i would call not very appetizing food. Honestly i would have given up when you started separating the pho into smaller dishes. You have had some really impossible challenges in which you willed yourself to victory. But onçe i saw that bowl i know how much you dislike fish and here you were staring back at a fish head (?) i saw your look of disgust. In my book i doubt that anyone not a native used to eating such ingredients wouldn't last as long as you did. Im glad that you know your limits and are not afraid to call it quits. In our eyes you're a very special young lady that carries herself with a humble demeanor your epitomize a classy lady. Take care and stay safe. Love your competitive spirit, never lose it. ☺️🌹❤️

Well done Raina!!! That was intense! I don't like fish eggs (roe), either. I could feel your pain on your first bite and immediately got queasy. Well done for trying! I would have given up immediately after that taste and texture. 😅

At the very beginning when you said fishy my mind said nope and my stomach said don’t even think about it lol. You are a very brave lady for trying to finish this challenge. To me it didn’t look appetizing . Your face told us what you thought of it. Seeing how much you managed to eat was amazing and you are a winner as far as I’m concerned. Fantastic job!!! Beautiful as always.

The translator was annoying. At the end he mistranslated the owners intention for her to take her time. But the translator kept pushing Raina to finish.

It looks like she had the challenge lived streamed. She was holding her phone and saying there were 30k viewers at one point. She was holding a mic and interacting with the viewers and passing on words of encouragement from the live stream viewers. She was actually a very sweet lady and supportive. She was trying to fan Raina with the sign she was holding in the beginning to keep her cool. Then later got a fan and ask the translator if Raina wants the fan pointed towards her. She did ask if everything tasted ok and if the food is to her liking. The translator failed to tell the host that Raina didn’t like the fish eggs (fish cake). She was concerned that Raina’s dress was getting too tight towards the end when she was visibly getting full and asked the translator if Raina wanted to change into a more comfortable/looser outfit and if Raina did not have one, she offered her own. It was a suggestion out of pure concern and support and not poking fun at her in anyway at a moment she knew Raina was struggling. Although the literal translation of what she said at the end is don’t be sad. What she really meant was for Raina to not be disappointed as her doing the challenge helped bring joy for everyone viewing. She made everyone happy attempting it and that’s what mattered. Vietnamese people talk very fast and in a high pitched tone. So it can sound like they are shouting and are being rude but in fact the host was the very opposite of that. The translator did his best but unfortunately he could not convey the host’s hospitality.

I’m a big fan of yours and I respect your honesty. This meal challenge seems like a big scam to me lol! I admire your bravery in taking courage to participate. By the looks of it, I’d be skeptical to even try it. I could imagine myself eating from a sewage soon as you said that it smells fishy and it has some fish eggs 😂🤣 They know their game. They ain’t paying anybody that kind of money until you start throwing up and end up getting sick. That $1200 won’t even be enough to cover your emergency bill in Thailand 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Good job though 👍🏽🫶🏼

USD$1200 ? Or Vietnamese currency? So challenge failed? That’s lots of noodles. Yes wise U shd not force yourself , good to know Yr limit. Think this is a second time she failed similar noodle challenge at a diff place. Noodles will bloat when settled in stomach n it’s very filling.

Rat kho voi Raina an mon nay vi Raina ko an duoc trung ca va mui tang cua ca. Nhung sua(jelly fish) thi ngon... con nguoi yeu ko translate (giai thich) dung nhu chin chu nhe...
