This $2.8M, 1200 HP Bugatti Veryon Super Sport Pur Blanc 1/1 hit 246.4 mph and this insane 1700 hp Nissan GTR Goliath hit 237.1 MPH at the 2014 Sun Valley Road Rally in Sun Valley, Idaho. The Veyron Super Sport set a new course record for the Sun Valley Road Rally!
The Pur Blanc is a One of One commissioned for Ben Chen. The Super Sport is a limited edition version of the Bugatti Veyron that set the production car record for top speed. Only 30 Super Sport Veyrons exist. The Super Sport set the record for fastest production car with a top speed of 267mph. The Hennessey Venom GT set broke the Super Sport's top speed production car record with a somewhat controversial speed of 270mph.
The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is powered by a 8.0L W16 that produces a whopping 1200 horsepower. The standard Bugatti Veyron produces 1,001 horsepower. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is valued at USD $2.8 million. The Bugatti Veyron is quad turbocharged; it has 4 turbochargers. The Bugatti Veyron gets 8mph in the city and 12mpg on the highway.

@@MALIK-lk7sc believe it or not it will break multiple times before the w16. And yes there are some 3000 hp gtr, which need extra cooling after every run. Internals have to get replaced so often. On top of that the Bugatti is still the best modern built car. Never saw one burning, like gtrs, koenigsegg, ferraris and mclarens for example. Yes the gtr engine is reliable but only stock. Most cars cant handle the stress like the w16 at constant high speeds, and no car do it with that stability and comfort together

the gtr is redline limited at 237 or so mph..... even if it had a million hp and still had the same redline, it would still only go 237 or so mph.... that was the fucking point.... jesus....a gtr would have to have a gearing change to do over 240mph ams, ets etc all have stated this and the key to remove the cap on the veyron was gps recorded and only worked at santioned evens giving approval by bugatti themselves. so it wouldnt work on the autobahn for instance.
