120Hz really makes a difference though. I'm using S23 on adaptive and the 120Hz really shines when you're scrolling through on social media.

@jdoe8162 True, but there it is also 60Hz vs 120Hz. I've got the S23 Ultra, and it's a big difference. However, I want to buy the yoga 9i laptop, which only has 90Hz. Now I think it should be fine, but 60 would definitely not satisfy me

Think you I have a s23 ultra and a few Samsung phones but I was looking for the best in the a53 sense when I go on power saving it sets to 90 hz and it runs smoother but it is a noticeable difference for example the s23

Even in this rough test video i can notice the difference, 60 to 90 phone was a Big Improvement for me and im looking forward a lot to that 120/144

@@jdoe8162 The difference between 90hz and 120hz is very very small. 60hz has a delay of 15ms while 90hz only has 5ms. For 120hz it's 3ms. The jump from 60hz to 90hz is huge but for 90hz to 120hz is barely noticable.

you're increasing how fast the animation will move, not increasing the amount of frames.

No. This is only screen refresh rate. The fps in camera is different and can be changed in settings

Trust me buddy, you notice it irl If you stay on the 90 hz screen for a week and switch back to the 60hz one youll think your phone is lagging Funny story about this is that it happened to me when i was going to buy a new phone for my mother, i got 2 similar specs phones to check out and one of them was appearing to me as if it was lagging the other seemed normal, and then i saw that the one who appeared to be lagging had a 60hz screen the one who didnt appear to lag had a 90 hz screen Again, both had same specs Its not as if one was better than the other but just because i was now used to having a 90 hz screen refresh rate it appeared to lag when it was on 60

The human eye cannot directly see 120 Hz. High contrast fluctuations are not perceived for frequencies much above 60 Hz. This does not mean, however, that a 60 Hz monitor is all you need.

Is the operative system, the animations on iOS are more smother compared to Android animations even the animations on iOS are in 60Hz. But personally, I prefer Android animations.

No bro! That is just making it feel smooth with good animations It doesn't come near to 120Hz And if Apple releases 120Hz, it will be smoother than many 144Hz Androids due to these animations
