Haha..reminded me of my crazy RTI cycling 40+ years ago with a small group of school mates. We avoided the heat by starting our journey at 8pm from Bedok Jetty, and completed the RTI at 6am for breakfast near Bedok Bus Interchange (MRT was still under construction then). Thinking back, it was quite a crazy endeavour. Our RTI then was shorter than yours, probably less than 100KM, because back then Singapore road system was still not that well developed. It was crazy because certain road conditions were not very good for cycling, and we were fighting to keep awake from around 4am, and at the same time navigating with paper map (Google map did not exist then)! Fortunately the road traffic was quite light, and we were young! Congratulations to your RTI cycling achievement!

@@ninijiang Yeah...and because paper map updates were always behind (way behind in fact) due to the rapid development of our road system back then, we had to stop quite frequently to check our directions especially near new towns, and hence the longer time taken despite shorter distance than yours. I'm quite sure your RTI experience will be just as memorable as mine. All the best to your future endeavours.

第二次重温这个视频，非常好，环岛120公里骑行的确不容易，佩服不已。我以前在国内时曾经从上海骑行到无锡，全程160公里，累趴下了，那时是秋季，不太热，总算坚持下来了。来新加坡之后最多骑行过40公里，我骑折叠车的，下次买一辆公路车骑，我在公里上跟不上那些公路车骑士，一下子就被那些骑士拉开了距离。谢谢你精心制作的这些视频，我会继续关注你的视频的，加油！

Wooooaaahhh, awesome video, my first round the island was much longer and tiring, it was a solo ride, had to find my way, that time was 2:40pm to 9pm ride Seeing your video makes me feel like doing it again

妮妮江， 128km round Singapore was definately a challenged especially on a racing bicycle. Needed a lot of stamina for such a trip. Only one stop at Changi Village hawker centre for a small breakfast was definately tiring. But glad you really made the round trip via your racer. It seem you really pooped out when you reached your home. Great job!

Good job! Like most of the comments, start between 5 to 5;30am so that you can finish before 11am. Next challenge is to include the famous Lamp Post 1 to the RTI.

Great achievement for a newbie. One advice is to start early to avoid the hot late morning sun. 5am is a good time to start and end around 10am.

Next time try the 160km Round Island . Including the Tuas Lamp post 1. My last Round Island started at Yishun Avenue 7 at 7am and ended around 10:15pm.

At Tanah Merah Coast Road, you guys cycles on the designated bicycle lane. Correct way of sharing the road. Remember other road users hate cyclist who ride in parallel. Best is in Indian file. Keep to the most extreme left.

均速如果20KM/H的话可以考虑晚上9-10 点出发，中间可以有几个吃饭时间，早上6点左右应该可以到家。最重要不晒。。。

Good job for a starter well done 👍 👍 If u plan to do Clockwise direction next round I don’t mind to follow u guys 😝 Try to finish the RI before 11am as normally once the Sun comes out about 9am your motivation and energy level will drop 50%.. U can consider start around 4-5am if u need more time for riding. I will prefer to ride during the night after 9pm when traffic are lesser and finish around 1-2am..

NNJ 好棒!👍 我好久没骑环岛了！本来也想在平安夜再做一次环岛，但天不做美🌧️! 没想到路上骑车的人蛮多的！环岛的路线，我比较喜欢清晨骑Neo Tiew 的那段路. 就好像骑在“乡间小路”, 早上可以看到草丛上的雾水，好凉快又舒服！

@@ninijiang 根据个人经验，环岛主要有3个地方建议在早上8点前过关提供参考。 1. Tanah Merah Coast Road 2. Punggol 到 Yishun Dam 的那座桥 3. Neo Tiew Road. 这些地方都会让人骑到超厌世，是很多人被拉爆的地方。加上新加坡本来就是个“丘陵”地帶，上上下下的坡，我称为洗衣板坡，真的会很累。如果加上酷热的大太阳...崩溃。

Dangerous to ride on the road, for me it is the PCN. i can ride for 6 to 7 hrs and cover some 150km no problem, and i am never sick of Pang Sua PCN. Best time after 10pm and ride till morning, You can own the whole PCN to yourself, except one in a while there is one or 2 rider and of course grab food delievery with dangerous motorised vechicle. Best is still change coast road bicycle lane, safe and nice, but got to content with those sandy truck,
