This Philly cheese steak was made with ribeye steak, cheese and a very large serving of fries (about 5lb) - to create this 9-10LB cheesesteak challenge. In fact, it was a lot bigger than I expected! This is a very legendary food challenge and has been famous in the area. It originally started of about 6lb but has grown over the years to be about 10lb, it also has loads of cheese in addition to the steak and onions. the rolling jackpot looks like the saving grace of that challenge. otherwise it looks bland and boring. just an absurd amount of fries to stack the odds against challengers.

@@pmg-1 without looking at the menu to see how much an order of fries are, lets say about $4 an order. Multiply that by 5 since its 5 orders. $20, then the giant cheesesteak which lets say is probably close to $30, charging $60 isn't all that ridiculous

Once again... you win!! 👊🏼 I have to say, these restaurants that have food challenges need to simmer down on the fries! 🍟 5 lbs? Come on. We all know what happens to the fries once they get cold. They are dry, hard to chew, cut your mouth. They are mealy, grease coats the roof of your mouth. 😖😝 I understand it's a challenge, however if you want the challenger to eat 5 lbs of something, make it a mix of tater tots, onion rings, potato salad, baked beans, pickles, coleslaw, anything but too many fries. Be creative restaurants! It's free advertising for you! Thanks for another great video Joel.

Lots of comments saying there is no cheese. I'll explain. There are two ways cheesesteaks in Philly are presented, cheese top and cheese bottom. After the steak is chopped the cheese is put on top of the steak on the grill to let it melt. Some businesses than slide the spatula under all the meat then place it on the bread so the cheese is on top. Others put the bread on top of the cheese and steak while still on the grill to allow the cheese to melt into the bread as well, then scoop it up so the cheese is bottom. Now this place uses a ton of meat so you don't really see the cheese.
