My first game Boxing Day 1963 v Sheffield Utd. 3-3 draw. So many memories since then. Cup quarter final v Everton. That 2-0 win v Liverpool in the European Cup, stand out!! Magical place in my life.

Watching from Tasmania. I've been a Forest fan since the Prem first came to Australian TV in 1992, I've only ever been to Nottingham once, only to the gift shop of the WFCG, but somehow can get sentimental over this video :/

The City Ground crowd is absolutely unbelievable and incredibly loud too, in fact almost deafening when they sing Mull of Kintyre, Oh City Ground! We have regularly out sung the home fans at many other grounds when we are away which most people can't believe until they actually hear our incredibly faithful fans singing as they are the best. Proud to be able to call myself a Forest Fan. The City Ground though when the fans are singing our anthem, it sounds like there is more than double the number of our fans in the ground, they are just that loud, most fans are shocked when they hear us. ♥️ COYR ♥️ FTID ♥️

There's always been something different about the City Ground - an intangible something that separates it from the rest and elevates it above much bigger, much more famous stadiums. It was there even in the dark years, laying dormant under the surface, buried by the decades of disappointment, frustration and heartache. All it took was a single Welshman who recognised and respected the significance of the place to bring the magic back to life, and get the old place rocking again. For that, Steve Cooper will forever be a Red, forever part of the Forest family, whatever the future brings. Cheers Steve 🌳🔴⚪
