1257 HP Opel Kadett WKT - The Ultimate Sleeper ??

What you see here is an astonishing 1257HP Opel Kadett 4x4! This ludicrously fast sleeper is the work of tuning company WKT. The original 1.6-litre engine has been thrown in the bin, replaced by a 2.0-litre 16V Turbo 4x4 Ecotec unit packing, the mother of all turbochargers, now running 3.1 bar!! Thanks to the F28 Gearbox the result is 1257 hp and an undisclosed torque figure, with which the car becomes a hard to beat contender in any type of drag race from a roll, as the footage clearly shows.
It's now official German fastest 4-cylinder car!

Probably a drivetrain limitation that doesn't allow him to do a hard launch, as he didn't do in the video. Often understandable in these high hp small old cars, especially awd.

Salil Sawarim the cars are setup for different events, Boba's car has gear ratios that are longer than the Bugatti Chirons so I'd say no it's not faster. But they are of similar power and weight so maybe if the setup was changed for drag racing or vice versa it would be a close call.

Ja in den unteren Drehzahlen läuft der Motor noch nahezu seine Saugmotor- Leistung. Das Abgasvolumen ist da noch zu gering um ordendlich Ladedruck im TL zu generieren. Je größer der TL destso größere Mengen Abgas werden benötigt um die Turbine auf Drehzahl zu bringen. Vorteil ist aber das dadurch mehr Ladedruck erzeugt werden kann der in die Brennräume geht. Deswegen haben solch extrem hochgezüchtete Motoren mit großen TL's auch so ein ungleichmäßiges Leistungs/ Drehzahlband bzw Leistungskurve. Trotzdem finde ich haben die das bei dem sehr gut hinbekommen. Meistens gibts sehr viel unausgeglichenere Leistungskurven über den gesamten Drehzahlverlauf!

Warum sollte man da alles geben? Bei 804m braucht man keinen Knallstart. Bringt dir hintenraus nur ca. 2-3 KM/H. Dafür zerstört keiner sein Getriebe bzw. Antriebswellen ect.
