Shows some upgrades to my 2008 Mac Pro.
My original DVD drive stated to play up, so I purchased a BluRay drive to replace it, difference is that the original drive is the older style parallel ATA, the new drive is SATA.
The kit I purchased from OWC comes with the required cables.
Some time ago I already added a second drive using the same kind of kit, so I have two drives installed now.

It is best to hold your hands and the components so that they are no longer in the picture at all. Or just turn the camera completely in the other direction next time.

Maybe try making videos yourself first before criticising someone else that actually does it to try and help people out. Does criticising make you feel smarter or less irreverent in some way, just wondering why you do it?

Hey this is still a good video, June 19, 2020! I just put a BluRay player in my Mac Pro ID 3,1 and the SATA sockets are on the motherboard and it works just fine! Thanks!

Did you know you could put 8 x 8 GB Chips of RAM for a total of 64 GB of RAM in the 2008 Mac Pro? You can buy them on OWC!

I did this to my 06 mac pro a few years back worked well moved the Blu Ray burner to my 4,1 no cables needed SATA already
