128 - Kawasaki Brute Force Snowplowing on a pond

In this video I take my Kawasaki Brute Force ATV onto my skating rink pond to plow the snow off. It's a whole lot of fun to snow plow with an ATV so come along and enjoy the snowplowing.

Spending time outdoors doing projects with various machines and tools - anything from cutting trees, firewood, clearing brush, milling wood, plowing snow, reviewing, repairing & fabricating equipment. Doing landscaping and maintenance on my forested property using my Kubota tractor.
And its not all work!! Gotta take time to play - after turning my pond into a skating rink, and a whole bunch more of outdoor activities.

I had a Warn plow on my Honda Rancher. They make an excellent clean up tool. They do a very professional looking job.

That's a nice setup Gary and they are great machines for quick snow removal. My plow is a Kawasaki and the winch is a Warn. The Warn winch is fast, smooth and quiet. Have a great week Gary!

I was curious about the rough texture of the surface of the pond. We had the same issue when I was a kid. It was an elderly couple’s pond and they never minded we would skate and fish in their pond. Enjoy The Journey - Cheers

Once I finish plowing with the ATV I always use a hand scraper to get it smooth. Then I flood / water the surface. I have a zamboni like setup for my ATV for watering. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend Bob!

Thanks Tod. It is a lot of fun and I feel very fortunate to have my own ice rink. My kids and their friends grew up having a lot of fun skating and playing hockey over the years. Even though it's much harder to maintain with such erratic weather nowadays it's worth the effort. Have a great weekend!

Good morning Ben! Plowing with the ATV is a blast. A plow for an ATV is inexpensive. With regards to the winch for the plow I have a Warn winch and wouldn't go with anything else. I will enjoy the skating. You too have a great weekend.

Pretty cool ! 😂. We haven’t had cold enough winters here to have pond’s freeze to drive on them 😮

Thank you! It has been plenty cold overnight here. The ice is very thick right now. A few warmer above freezing days forecasted this week then back to cold. The few warm days won't impact the ice too much. I think the ice will stay pretty solid for a couple more weeks. Thanks for watching and have a great day!

That's a pretty fast zamboni, all you need is a water tank and wet cloth to make it perfect for outdoor conditions.

Thanks it is pretty fast. I do have a water tank zamboni type water system that I use to flood / water the surface. It works quite well. Have a great day!

I’m f you’re not having fun you may as well not be doing it! Nice one Paul. These work awesome. I’d say at least 60-70% of my snow removal is on the quad. Cheers, and have a good weekend

Good morning Sir! Did you start dancing, lol. She likes to get right in there with the camera and I don't think she was expecting to get sprayed. We enjoyed a skate afterwards. Hoping once the current mild weather passes that we get a good freeze. The ice surface looks great just needs to frees up. Have a super weekend Sir!

I think your videographer needs DANGER PAY 😉😂. Do you have a drum of water on the back of the ATV with a Zamboni type contraption to water it? A great weekend to both of you 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♂🇨🇦

She likes to get right in there Luc. I do have a zamboni type watering system for the ATV that I use to water / flood my pond rink. It works well. Have a great weekend as well.
