My worst death was in the Grandmaster Galaxy Perfect Run, when I got to the last planet with the Hammer Bros...and jumped on one of the torches.

How about beating the last planet with the Hammer Bros and arriving on the planet with the star only to miscalculate your jump to get the star and fall off the planet to your death. But it was no biggie just a quick trip to GameStop for a new controller and back to business.

By far the funniest death I've ever experienced in this game was one time recently when I was going after the Green Star on the right side of the long sand slide and my Wiimote, which had been warning me of low battery for at least an hour, finally died and Mario suddenly veered straight off the slide to his doom.

#67 3:16 Why don't you do infinite flutter jump trick with Yoshi if the paths disappear? Infinite flutter trick: To do this trick, hold A to start fluttering, when Yoshi flutters high, quickly tap Z when it's high (not high enough/completely), then release A and repress and hold A quickly after you tap Z, (don't hold Z too long and repress A or else Mario/Luigi dismount Yoshi), and repeat the controls. Be careful: If Yoshi flutters high enough/completely, Yoshi can't flutter continuously. If you hold Z too long and repress A, Mario/Luigi will dismount Yoshi.

You know what I really like in this game? Yoshi is indestructible. If he falls off or touches a hazard, he simply teleports back to his nest by magically encasing himself in an egg in thin air. As you can see at approximately 4:28, he STOPS in midair and retreats to his egg. How badass is that? No such thing as "sacrificing Yoshi" in this game.
