I used to do a lot of drafts and always picked subs first because you know what you get and if you don't get enough in a position (you take all defenders and don't have a left back for example), you know whether you're gonna need to sacrifice a bit of rating to get full chem. But taking reserves first? It doesn't make sense to me. Can you please explain why that is better?

You should build the drafts from left to right instead of top to bottom. When you get a run of bad cards like in the second draft today, it's much easier to recover on the bench and reserves when you are looking to upgrade one winger, one midfielder and one defender instead of upgrading three CBs

I think the reason the rating can seem so hard to reach is because as you pick another slot the requirement for a 95 rating increases. The requirements for a 95 rated squad with 3 more sub slots open arent the same as the requirements for a 95 rated squad when you have already opened every sub slot and starter slot
