Very quick for a 5hp stock prop and internal tank on 12ft aluminum boat.
1 person 34km/h(220lbs)
2 people 25km/h(360lbs)
3 people 18km/h(490lbs
4 people. 11km/h not recommend other that close to shore.700lbs
Extra weight on-board minn Kota motor and light weight 12v18ah as a backup and safety equipment( oars jackets etc )

You think a 12 ft jon boat is fine for me and 2 friends for saltwater flats?

Not to bad for a 5hp with 3 people in the boat. Pretty quick

Thanks I thought it was pretty quick too our family has a 22ft pontoon with a newer 40hp mercury and the 12ft aluminum with 5hp (2 people ) run about the same speed 24-26km/h. I will post a WOT 1 person video soon.
