Stephanie, in order to preserve the coating on your rivoli and prevent your seed beads from tarnishing, I suggest using Permalac, which I purchased from Potomac Beads. The Permalac is not as thick as fingernail polish. It also slightly stiffens your design, which is great when I make fringed earrings, which many times want to fold vertically in the middle while wearing. I love your designs, and now that I am semi-retired I plan on making lots of them! Thank you for your detailed videos that go at a pace that I can follow. Happy Beading!

I answered someone already, but I thought, maybe more people were wondering if this design would work with a 12 mm Rivoli instead of the cushion cut. The answer is: absolutely yes. I just finished one ring with a 12 mm Preciosa Rivoli and it worked absolutely fine, tho I had to add one more row to the back to have the stone sit really snugly, did 2 rows, because it looked great. Otherwise, the rest worked the exact same and it is really comfortable to wear.

I am going to put an order in for some more beads so going to have a go at this which is lovely. I struggled a bit with coming back to beading after about 5 years but just made 2 of your beautiful bracelets by watching and going back and watching again. Thanks so much for your instructions. In the UK it is not so easy to get everything from one place so it takes time to build my stash up for beading.

An absolutely beautiful project. AND I finally get odd count peyote. Yippee!!! I've been beading for many years. I've done some complex intricate designs but that odd count just didn't make sense. Something fairly simple but it just didn't "click". You made it clear as a bell. (You do know you were born to do this and to teach those of us who love this craft.) I, too, have really enjoyed this series, especially the bezeled cushion cut stone. Thank you for your suggestion concerning pulling the stitching too tight while working on the bezel--I am so guilty of doing that, then I get all flustered when my stone pops out of the other side, and then...I put my project down and walk away. Thank you for your calm, quite and very useful teaching technique.

What a stunning ring! I have watched your tutorial of 18x13 mm oval fancy stone ring and bezeling chaton to make rings/earrings. This cushion cut was more sophisticated than the others but design and how the stone sits on the beaded setting is so elegant. Plus peyote stitch of ring chain with 15/0 edge makes more elegant compare to using delica only. Thank you for the tutorial and design. I have always loved your anchor like voice to follow the tutorial. So many more beading to do, get advanced. What a great hobby I start beading and the youtuber like you to teach beading! Thank you!!!

Hi again, initially, I admit that I grumbled about needing another form of rivoli, so I am late starting this Estate series. But when I saw the ring design I said YES and it took me a few days to get my supplies. Am I glad that I did eventually start! This has to be one of the prettiest bezels, Stephanie! The first one feels like a small miracle happened. The band is so gorgeous I think I will incorporate it into other rings that have those 3 delicas begging for it on their backs. My second one is a deep garnet red cushion Rivoli and it is amazing. So thank you again for such a beautiful design. P.s. as a French-speaker every time you say quatre foil, I get hives. The term means four-leaved. La feuille means the leaf. In French it’s quatre-feuille... pronounced “katr foy”... the closest thing that might describe the sounds... no ell sound. Ta-daaa... your daily French lesson!

@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry The hand surgery was canceled as I expected it would with the current situation. But the good news is that I can use my hand until it's rescheduled. And my left hand is healed so I can bead again! I've got a lot of catching up to do!

I love your method best, Stephanie!! I’ve tried a few other methods for odd-count, but yours is hands-down my fave!! When I’d first learned odd count peyote, it was taught by using the “X method”, but I found it super confusing. I can see that you’re teaching the “X method” right here-but with zero confusion though!! Which brings me to my point-being that, I absolutely love how you explain things. In fact, you’re the one that I was finally able to learn CRAW from🥰; I swear you hand out CRAW epiphanies like Halloween Candy😅💓🤗, lol-you truly dooo though! Thanks to you and your trusty sidekick-the bead-reamer, I now have CRAW mastered-and now it’s one of my most favourite stitches too. You really are a remarkably talented bead artist, designer & teacher-with a positively beautiful soul, Stephanie✨💖✨-through & through.
