It’s certainly a long and hard road from higher secondary school to gen surgery. Several years of hard work, timeless days and sleepless nights , preparing for the exams, emergency room, ORs , clinics and so on. Yet the work is fulfilling and rewarding.

Great episode! I'm an incoming med student, and listening to the advice at 1:10:00 was very helpful. I've constantly heard how important it is to do a bunch of research in med school, but it was nice to hear some actionable advice for how to actually get good at that. I'm definitely going to look into learning Python or something like that!

I like and have watched many of these videos from this channel but this one was by far the toughest to follow. He seemed to jump over the journey and struggles. One day he's in a special ed school and next thing he's a surgeon.
