13 Buenos Aires Tetras + Petco Haul

In this video we’re going to be adding 13 Buenos Aires Tetras to the 75 Gallon Rainbowfish River Tank. Apart from that, we’re going to be going through my petco haul, installing a heater, a lid, and you get a sneak peak at the first plants to go into my Seiryu Stone Aquascape! How did your plants fare with the Buenos Aires Tetra?

Yeah.. you overstocked that tank.. Also BA Tetras (and the other breed they put in there by mistake) are fast swimmers that zip around.

I was pushing it not gonna lie Was just looking for something to complete the tank like a cardinal tetra maybe but the BA looked much cooler and seemed more energetic Too energetic turns out lol

Any ideas on smaller fish that wouldn’t be a problem? Or should I just leave it as is🤔

Looks like I got some Panda Tetras instead of Buenos Aires on accident, might have to go back for the rest of both species 🤔

Lovely tank but I'd be careful adding more fish,its heavily stocked now.

Definitely was the last addition👍😂 Probably going to rehome a gourami too because he’s started to get a little aggressive due to lack of territory Thank you for the compliment though🤝

Just through experience mate.I lost virtually a tank full of fish through having far too many.Water quality so often suffers with too many fish.I had a large gold gourami once which turned into a real tank bully attacking other fish.I took it to my local store in the end as it was just too disruptive.Good luck with your tanks.

You are not wrong about the water quality being harder to maintain with a heavily stocked tanks, I over filter my waters though about 9 times over per hour Probably gonna upgrade the canister filter soon as well only pushes 185GPH, wanna push more for 300+ on my canister filter Thank you for your words of wisdom
