Incredibly useful to learn a real daily conversation. I would love more of such videos, please. ❤I actually hardly ever come across this format on KZfaq. Most of channels teach vocabulary only, but not informal daily conversation.

Hi! Mate is used mainly towards men, and whilst it means ‘friend’, it is used on everyone! (Taxi drivers, strangers on street etc)

The past tense ‘did’ suggests that the person has already come up with their idea, so they already have it in mind :)
