What’s overlooked is the effect of trauma. Intelligent people are good at navigating crisis and leading others but too much stress or loss can take a toll on anyone, no matter how smart or talented you are.

I got all 13! I have ADHD and it made me feel stupid, incompetent and bizarre because I process the world differently than other people. As a young adult, I discovered that I have a very high IQ. The older I get, the more I seem to refine my gifts. Life is a thrill ✌️

The dark side of emotional intelligence is the ability to understand people for who they are, not for what you'd like them to be. It happens that you understand them, but all the empathy in the world cannot turn them into a better person. Then you have to leave. This is poorly understood, because it makes the emotionally intelligent person the bad one, as they don't want to be exploited even though they're most likely in a position to make a difference. Intelligent people rarely truly struggle in life. They have resourses ( financial, social, educational) and their safety net is well knit and deserved. But the others( the not so smart ones) call this state of affairs luck. Luck comes to those who have worked for it.

Luck is a real phenomenon. No one gets to choose how good looking they are born or intelligent or natural abilities nir which country and so forth. That is a cosmic lottery. And intelligent people struggle just like everyone else often times more due to lack of equivalents in their life is one such way. Just try dumbing down your speech so you don't get made fun of or envied and see if that's not a tiresome struggle.

Happy New Year!🎉🎉🎉 Being alone yet surrounded by many. Big difference from feeling alone. Pains me to say but I have all the qualities. I enjoy my time alone. I entertain myself by listening to music, Reading, etc . I was very happy with my life until I met someone that made me do a double take. Our interactions are on another level. I've learned so much from him, for the first time i crave a relationship. He's not my type I'm not his type. He's not looking I'm not looking. He's content with his life so I'm I. We both want each other but we resist. In the past we have resisted and overcame other people. I'm curious about the journey. I accept and allow it to play out.

A true sign of I.Q. Is thinking outside the box looking at the furthest possible answer and narrowing it down to the simplest possibility in the shortest time. Having an extremely precise analysis system and deductive reason skills. An innate sense of understanding and intuition. If you don’t understand yourself you can’t possibly understand your surroundings.

Generally I would say that intelligent people become friends with other intelligent people because unintelligent people have different interests and engage in mostly different kinds of activities. They can and do interact with less intelligent people but that is because they work with them or encounter them at social events etc.

Is intelligence inherited, genetic ? Upbringing also maybe playing massive role in developing one's I.Q. What my observation is sometimes some genius are born with natural inclination . I am neither Smart enough to identify that nor intelligent enough or say educated enough to define it. Some cases I know are very odd. Like one famous scientist who is internationally acclaimed was born in lower caste of uneducated family in practically slums of India. Local believe he has brought all that high intelligence from previous life however it has no scientific proof. Just a norm or belief system of reincarnation etc etc . That guy"s family was almost illiterate for generations with absolutely no amenities like even electricity or toilet, still he became a no 1 chemical ecngineer with merit and has many big patents on his name.

The one I struggle with is the 'Emotional Intelligence' concept. When I find myself confronted with a group of people destined on making the wrong choice to a critical issue, I find it difficult not to push back 'strongly.' Sort of like being part of a "lemmings" caravan, where everyone is headed toward the cliff, just because the most powerful or charismatic person says to follow them. I cannot just walk along with the crown and walk of the edge of the cliff. I need to run up to the front of the line and let the 'so called' leader know about the mistake they are are about to make. I 'Do Not' "go Along to Get Along', so by the pure definition of 'Intellectual Intelligence', I guess I don't measure up. So be it.
