$13 Horn Upgrade for the Can Am Ryker - A Must!!

Күн бұрынGuys I found a nice enough horn for about $13 on Amazon and the link is below. I can't beieve what a difference it makes. There is no room between the horn and the hood and that I imagine is only due to me having the exclusive panels. The hood panel has to be bolted from under the hood outwards and sticks out just enough that there is no play. But nevertheless it fits.

Mr. Zia, great video as always. Nice to have a cheaper, working alternative to more expensive parts, and appreciate your description and demo of how easy it is to do installations. @@RideAboutNow ...it most certainly is louder and cheaper than any other horns suggested. I am ALLLLLL about saving the $$ for the many other modifications I plan to add as well, not as many as you lol (for the moment anyways).

Hello KNIGHT RYKER, Just wanted to thank you for providing this video. I just finish installing the Wolo Loud One on my Ryker Rally, for $13 bucks on Amazon and an easy install I’m ahead of the game. If you find anything else cheap please let us all know because Ryker accessories are so expensive. Thanks again and may the Road Guardian keep us all safe while traveling 👊🏾

Knight rider you say 2 more things and that’s it, but I’m not to sure about that😂becuz can am keep comming out with different things. Also thanks for showing the video on the horn I will be purchasing one today,but don’t forget there is so much tempting when it comes to these bikes. All so if you got a video on how to set your helmet for a GoPro that will be helpfull I’m ordering everything from Best Buy, I just need to know what parts I need I know I will need a mic but how do all this work if you got a Bluetooth allready install in your helmet. Get back at me when you can, but man you got that bike looking good.

Thanks a lot preacher. You are right on spending money. I say 2 more things but really it's like 4 more or eve 5 LoL. Someone else also requested a short video on how my camera is set up. I will bring that to you guys showing how I have set it up for sure in a day or 2. Stay tuned.

Did I miss the before sound? Pitch does not necessarily mean louder and you may be surprised to learn about the misconceptions around decibel ratings and what constitutes louder. I agree the stock horn is wimpy - as they all are on most motorcycles.

A louder horn is very important and for the cost should have been there to begin with. I have that horn bookmarked on Amazon as well just not sure if I want the high tone or low tone.

Yeah I spent like $12.00 Ebay came with two. Definitely a must along with the LEDs headlights. Nice video. Enjoy the ride.

Thanks Giovanna. I did the LED headlights but couldn't make a video on it. It was a bit of a pain on the left side of the bike but I came through and yes They are a must, can't believe the Manufacturer would save at the most $100 on these from the get go.

Ordered this, I got something different. Too big, could not get my hood to work with it. I think they changed the style. But I will try another one

Hello! Whats the exact model number as I got model 310-2T and its a little to big does not fit cant rotate as the connectors are thicker also thanks!

It is 310-2t low tone that I purchased. Now if you have a different hood or lights in your hood that it may be too big. But mine worked after playing around with it on the position. Also mine were plug and play on the 2020 rally model.

@@RideAboutNow Ok thanks! Its the same model but looks like different revision connectors are not the same and cant be rotated to clear properlt. Also maybe 2022 model has different hood clearance. A modified braket could maybe lower it and solve the issue. Thanks for your reply!

The placement of the horn, does it interfere with the steering

No you have to adjust the angle to where it does not interfere with the steering and the hood when you try to close it.

Hope you took the cover back off and tightened that nut on the back of the horn.

The hood panel you have to drill new holes that are pre marked sort of and then bolt them down. Dont know why they did not make it so it bolts down in place of the original one.

I bought the same model, but can't get the hood back on. Moved it around like you did, but no go. Anyone have any ideas?

That’s odd mine fit but I had to really move it around to fit the hood. I tilted mine and moved it sideways and it was a very tight fit for me but I don’t know if different models have different hoods.

I accidentally touch the fuse tip and it sparkled up with electric shocks, now got no sound have to bring it to dealer. Do not get electric shock! Touch any metal before you disassembled the horn!

Felix. That is for sure if you are referring to LED headlights. I changed the bulbs I purchased from Sling mods, they were called the 360, and what a world of difference especially the view on the sides. It feels like I have cornering lights on. I couldn't bring the video on YT as it was a pain to install and I kept cursing. LoL.

If you meant extra LEDs non headlight, that too. I just have to see which one I like and in the near future I will get something for sure.
