Welcome back to part 2 of monsters in Finland. this time I am fishing for potential world record fish, and in the meantime trying to have some great fun.
we struggle with the weather, but finally get an entire day on the water which gave crazy good results.

this is absolutely amazing. We are happy to catch 55cm Zander in german and or dutch waters, if we are lucky. This is totally insane. Zanders of that size produce enormous amounts of eggs, so its good you put them back. I wonder how many baitfish they eat per day. possibly 1/10 of their weight?!

The water looks brownish and shallow... how do you select these lakes in Finland. Allso the accomodation, looks basic.. For me is way to far but a joy to watch these remote ereas comparing our few crowded Dutch lakes.

Certain lakes, such as lake Lohja (Lohjanjärvi) are quite murky but big, and can hold a lot of fish this size. Southern and West-Central Finland has probably the best zander lakes in the country.

Daiwa viento Any braided line u trust, I use the Westin w10 0,22

@@RasmusT.C. thanks for the answer,wow 0,22,no issues with keeping the bait under the boat? All the guys i know are using 0,15 max for vertical. This viento is hard to buy but there is daiwa megaforce with the same twichin system.Did you use it? What size fluorocarbon are you using? Thanks for the answer

@@rzoorafwwa harder to be precise. But no issue with a lot of practice. but never brake anything with really hard hooksets on these big zanders. Know nothing about the mega force💪

What's the point of bluring the fishfinders, and just show how you get fish..., not nice hiding technique and fishing style just bragging with the fish you caught, big dislike.
