Good evening Sir, Learnt additional information /knowledge from your video thank you very much. This case has been very clearly explained our Mr P R sunder Sir "Under Unlimited risk for Option Buyer Part-2" We do not know when SEBI change rule but broker should bring to client's knowledge regularly. Like Zeroda other renowned broker informing before expiry. My broker Sharekhan one day before expiry sending reminder every half an hour during market hours. I feel this gentleman trading through bank platform and they does not bother about your loss. Mr Sunder also explained when doing Option trading do Indices instead of doing scripts. Whatever profit or loss close your position one day before expiry. We are retail people should be very careful. Thank you

Educate the option traders with this basic knowledge. Index options traders has rights but not obligation (which means if your index options exercise during expiry you need to pay the premium due). But Stock options has both rights and obligation to shares.(which means if your options exercise during expiry you need to pay through security settlement). Always try to close the weekly/Monthly options before the expiry day of week or month. If someone who starts new always they have to educate themselves with SEBI basic guidelines.

@@GopiNath-ws6mx nifty index optionslayo, banknifty index optionslayo trade panna casha than loss neenga pay pannuvainga, but stock options la neenga kadaisi நாள் kulla optiona vikkalana you have to give security(stocks than settle pannanum), neenga entha stocks optionsla trade pandringalo அந்த stock unga NSDL OR cdsl tagged security broking account la illa and then அந்த stock option kana expiry( if it's weekly then thrusday) if it's monthly last thrusday of the month kulla exercise aagala which means sale aagalana your broker will request margin in advance and if that is not there he will go to auction market(usually price of stock is higher than bidding price) and get the stock and pay the exchange on behalf of you and pay the exchange NSE. A stock is a derivative of a bussiness and a option is a derivative of a stock.

Sir, Upstox sending notification a week before the expiry on the outstanding Options held. I had lost more than 2 Lakhs in different stock during 2021 while got into options trading. But after so many learning, i had recovered all the losses during Dec 2021 & Jan 2022.

There are lot of factor in his Hindalco Option trade....he had hold huge lot , so we can not sell other strick price....selling option need more money...also we can not guess that the hindalco settle 349.85 price going ITM before market closing, if we sell other stick price then if not one side ITM then other side penalty comes.

Bro, I'm beginner and got more doubts in this option trading. For the past 2 years, I'm trading only the delivery. But this option being difficult to understand. Would be great if you could spend some time in explaining option trading from basics. Manytimes you say that we can convert the bought options to delivery if we are in loss. Please explain how to do that.

Thalaivarey one doubt... Let's say we sell our put option ITM within expiry.... Are we still obligated to settle in terms of shares or bare only the losses? To simply ask: does the obligation to settle in terms of shares arises only when we close our position ITM or obligation arises when we don't exit our position i.e can't find buyer....?

If you close ur position (squaring off) before expiry.. no matter the price ends in ITM or OTM , no physical settlement obligation.. on the other hand if unable to square off position and the price ends in ITM (closing price or weighted average) .. then trouble - physical settlement

Dear sir, he can lend hindalco stocks to settle, after some months he can pay back the lended stocks....there is a section called slbs in nse please refer to him....banks also does the same but they give interests for it

Sure bro.. index option expiry happens with Cash settlement. so no dependency of stock... but in stock options you trade with cash, but settlement needs to be done with Stock.. that is the problem

தலைவரே நான் முதன் முதலாக NIFTY 27 JAN 22 - 16050 put buy ₹7.30 365 ரூபாய்க்கு வாங்கினேன் இன்று மறந்துவிட்டேன் அது ஏதாவது ஆகுமானு தெரில ஏதோ ஒரு முறை வாங்கி பாக்கலானு வாங்கினேன் அத பத்தி எனக்கு ஒன்றும் தெரியாது இன்று - 362.50 ஆகி இருக்கு இப்போ நான் என்ன பண்ணனும் Sell பண்ணனுமா இல்ல EXIT பண்ணனுமா சொல்லுங்க
