It’s honestly amazing right? Some of these tools don’t seem like they should be available in an NLE - specially one so fast.

@@FILMCRUX yes. I’ve used Premiere and I’ve downloaded DaVinici but can’t get used to the nodes. I like all the AI additions in Filmora 13 and I have CapCut desktop but haven’t really played with it but after seeing some of these features like “relight” which I thought only DaVinci has, I’m going to shoot a short sci-fi film and edit it with CapCut

CapCut rolls out features in waves, so you may not have access to some features yet, but they’ll likely be rolled out to you in the near future, and you may even have some features we don’t.

@@jnfluenza Different features are rolled out to different people and different regions at different times. Newer updates for you will likely have it.

@@FILMCRUX I've found out that Macbook Air M1 doesn't have the feature. however, on mac air m3, there's relight feature. perhaps M1 base model doesn't have the required resources for that feature.

Can I rely on it instead of DaVinci Resolve?

Yes, depending on what you want to do. Each software excels at different things. For instance, if you’re specifically focusing on color grading, Resolve is the best for that. But if you just generally need a great video editing program, CapCut is pretty mindblowing and can handle basically anything you could want to do.

Different regions have different features as they roll them out, so depending on where you’re located, your layout may look a bit different and you may have different access for now.

It depends what you’re trying to save favorites of, but in the menu for that particular set of effects, you should see an option to save presets.

It really depends on what you need, but if you’re not sure where to start, try CapCut out. It’s free, and you can always upgrade later to get the Pro features, which we think is definitely worth it, especially considering how inexpensive it is.

The most of the hacks you described is only in the PRO Version of CapCut.

You can still do an unbelievable amount with just the free version, as you can see in our other videos on CapCut, but we definitely recommend the upgrade to ‘Pro’, especially given how inexpensive it is.
