Probably beacuse early humans rarely made contact with them. Unless early humans went diving near the Indonesia/Australia area. Thats also why sharks making the list doesn't really make sense. Sharks aren't really fond of the taste of humans, plus We aren't exactly "aquatic" beings.

@@garlandgarrison3739 If I remember correctly, sharkphobia as we know it was rarely a thing before the publication and movie adaptation of Jaws. Apparently many people weren't that bothered by sharks and actually quite ignorant of their dangers until after that famous river death which inspired the writing of the book Jaws. Of course all this is probably BS too because of the famous ship sinking in WW2 where lots of sailers got eaten by sharks. Still, I guess most of the public probably considered sharks as ocean dwelling problems that shouldn't worry bathers on beaches.

@@oinkers6839 they're really not as big as a problem as you think they would be. I once spent 8 hours on a dive boat searching for Sharks in Hawaii, couldn't find a single one! Then have swam with Bull, Hammerhead, Tiger, Black tip, white tip, oceanic white tips and whale shark. I still have all my limbs!

That is incorrect. It was studied and proven to be venom I think in 2009?

However animals are more likely to die from bleeding out rather then the venom. The venom seems more like a "just in case" because bleeding out seems to be the bites main objective.

They use their serrated teeth to bite, rip ,and tear through tissue leaving the victim in eventual shock due to blood loss as the venom continues to circulate throughout their victim's body leading to death if blood loss has not already taken them. There is nothing special about their bacteria or how they build it up that is a myth. Please do research , that has been debunked years ago.

Leopards are known for attacking humans, though not as often as bears or boars... Wolves and sharks rarely attack humans. Personally, I was attacked by a bull and later by a dog and I also had to deal with a very aggressive bird (not an eagle, but still big and a predator). It's not like any of them was going to eat me, but it was dangerous and in a time where just a scratch kills and stab wounds are not treatable, this would have been very dangerous. Personally, groups of stray dogs creep me out like hardly any other animal. At least those that I come into contact regularly. It makes me wish that I Could legally carry a gun.

@@edi9892 like i said, they protect their territory, they'll be aggressive if cubs are nearby, and they don't have humans as natural prey. People seem to believe the world belongs to them, it doesn't. You share it with the all other animals and when people don't respect this, tada!

You can't be more wrong, the Megalodon is 59ft long and is like 104 metric tons in weight, much more than the whale shark, which is like a few tons in weight.

The most dangerous shark is the Megalodon, obvious, and it is also the most badass killing machine in the ocean, which can swallow an entire orca in one gulp.
