There are so many phrasal verbs that use the word ‘stand’ in English. They sound very similar, but these all have different meanings, and the meanings are hard to guess. In this class, I’ll teach you 13 phrasal verbs with ‘stand’, as well as some noun forms that go with them. We’ll look at: stand up, stand up for, stand up to, stand for, stand by, stand in for, stand out, stand around, stand aside, stand back, stand off, stand down, stand with, and more.
