depending on the price and if it actually works, that embroidery machine might actually have been an insanely good deal. programmable embroidery machines are usually thousands of dollars. I couldn't find a decent one for under $6000 last time I looked.

The thing with the Wii Sport accessories was that the plastic got brittle over time... I cut myself pretty badly on one of these accessories back in the days. Scared the heck out of me.

I believe the sewing machine is a relatively new thing that uses the gameboy basically as a simple control system. There's quite a few different things that have been developed throughout the years since the Gameboy was really popular. There's actually a very good synthesiser interface program that can be got which allows you to write your own music to some level or other.

Yep I'm old enough about all of this, own a good chunk of the stuff shown, and also I was the kid back in the day with a Game Gear, and huge ass shoulder strap carrying case for it full of games, batteries(AA, and official SEGA Rechargeable battery pack), power brick, car charger, magnifier, Game Genie, etc.. the only thing I did not have was the TV tuner, as it killed the batteries way too fast, even the official SEGA rechargeable one.

The sewing machine, I remember seeing it in Big Lots and wanting it as a kid. It came with the Game Boy Color in the package, so it wasn't a case of using a GBC you already have.

I needed that sonar thing about 25 years ago. I once went fishing with my old man and when i finally got a bite, i panicked and dropped my gameboy in the lake. Things were built to last in those days. The gameboy was in the water for over 1 hour before my dad managed to fish it up with the net and it still works to this day

Great episode as always But completely wasted opportunity with the fishing Controller, Sega made the controller for the Dreamcast, complete with motion control and reeling in like a real fishing rod ;)

the gameboy accessoires might look funny from a nowadays perpective, but keep in mind that the gameboy was the only affordable small computer with an lcd screen that was available at that time. (no smartphones, etc, much cheaper and a few years even before PDAs (like the ericson or palm did appear). So yeah, they tried to really max out its limits.

The stability of the Switch Plant Stand is probably determined by the assembly. Your assembly didn't match the assembled product in the product picture. Either way it still doesn't seem stable.

The plant thing you put together with the wrong orientation. Made it off balanced. The snippet shows the switch piece centered. Guessing you would need to glue that thing to secure it.

Its krazy how whenever people talk about obscure controllers or accessories that the gameboy camera and printer come up. They were advertised a LOT and seemed like they were everywhere at the time. But i get that it was so long ago that kids today have no idea about it. What im trying to say is....im old.

I've had: Fishing rod GB Printer/Camera I had the Game Gear with everything that went with it. that took 8 batteries. we had all of the different versions of the gameboy known to the US back when it came out (by we i mean my fam)

I had that Game Boy Camera and Printer as a kid as well. Not mentioned in this video but the Game Boy Camera is actually the first time we saw Pok'emon in America. I didn't know what any of their names because they weren't listed in the camera and Pok'emon Red and Blue hadn't even been released yet but there was a feature where you could add stickers to your photos and four of sticker designs were the Sprites for Venusaur, Blastoise, Charizard, and Mewtwo. So yes, technically the first Pok'emon game in America was the Gameboy Camera.

I've heard about some of these for example the Wii sports accessories (except for the frisbee one.) Also the game boy printer and camera. I wasn't born in the '90s but I've heard about them. And I remember something similar in my age when my cousins had something like the skateboard thing. Also though imagine an old school gamer granny using a sewing machine attachment. I didn't know the game boy had all these weed accessories you can get. I agree with Daniel though that the Spider-Man thing should also of been more along the lies of him swinging and stuff. I would still get it though because I'm a huge Spider-Man nerd. I also loved Daley's puns with the fishing accessory. That's funny though too with the center controller. Makes its pizza though with a teenage mutant Ninja turtles. les.
