I'm currently traveling in Seoul and it's truly amazing. I can take one step outside the hotel, go to most mediocre looking restaurant, and it's still better than anything I've had back home. $40 will easily get me decent meal for my family of 4, best part is price on the menu is exactly what you pay, tax is included. The fact that Wagyu's DNA came from the Korean Peninsula does not mean that Wagyu's ancestors were Hanu. That means Wagyu and Hanu have the same ancestor, not hanu is origin of wagyu. Reason you don't hear about 한우 (hanwoo) or Korean beef outside of Korea is because they don't export it.

Hanwoo is likely to be the ancestor of Wagyu anyways so... Also Han-Woo just means Korean Cow, hence you cant have Hanwoo in other countries. They are in terms the same but fed different things.

I remember being one of the early subscribers and seeing Sonny in Korea being a little overweight and hustling trying to make it. Now here he is. Coming back to visit Korea and Making it happened. Living the dream. Hard work pays off.
