As a Plymouth fan, it is so painful for me to see them do this well this season so far (not a fan of them at all due to our Dockyard rivalry games on one another) but to be honest considering we went in the absolute same boat from 2010 to 2013 with financial administrations, so much problems off the field and all that, both in League Two together, both nearly went bust, it was absolutely painful for us both. Rivalry aside though, I’m absolutely chuffed for their fans and supporters right now as we finally went up from League One to the Championship last season after 13 seasons as Champions and Pompey are looking to do the exact same at the moment they are flying. We both went up together in League Two in 2017, both trying to push past League One, we’re finally back in the Championship and Pompey are looking to join us. It’s also an elite away day as well, we don’t particularly like each other, both port cities, very similar, atmosphere at Fratton Park is incredible, one of the best in the country, so competitive whenever we play each other at both Fratton and Home Park, games are intense all the time, the lot. Fratton Park is my favourite away day in the country as well, I look forward to the fixture every single season we play them, likewise with that we’ve had Southampton to face this season, another South Coast city like us. The only times I’ve wanted Pompey to win games (unless we were both fighting for the title for example) is whenever they obviously play Exeter and us likewise whenever we play Southampton. Rivalry aside, I really hope they come back up this season so I can get our Dockyard games back with them, as long as we stay up of course in the Championship and fair play to them if they do because we have gone through the exact same years of turmoil like they have. Only difference being we’ve never reached the Premier League (and we nearly got relegated to the National League and survived both times in 2012 & 2013, the two darkest seasons in our club’s history😭) and that’s what I hope we can do with our current ownership in my lifetime before I’m dead, since right now this is the best ownership we’ve got for years now. Would love to see us both and Saints in the Premier League to be fair battling the likes of Chelsea Arsenal Liverpool and United, would be a dream come true for me! I sit at the north stand lower, after that 4th goal went in half of the lads around me decided to call it a day, one of the coldest days of the year you can't blame them, but not me and my dad, a few of the lads around me started singing, then the whole ground started singing, even I was surprised at how many people stayed after going 4 nil down on a day like that. good times.

Love it. We have now been promoted from League 1 and promotion next season to the Premier League is guaranteed too. We are back in the Premier League where we deserve to be. We are the biggest club in the country besides Man Utd and Liverpool and we have the best fanbase in world football. The most fans in the country and the loudest fans anywhere in football. We have the bestest stadium in the world and our fans are the most passionate most and the loudestest fans in the world. Never understood why clubs that go into administration are docked points, while their owners who got them into trouble in the first place, walk away scott free. Administration is punishment enough and all but ensures the club will get relegated as they have to sell a lot of players. End of the day it's the fans and staff that suffer the most, who are blameless
