According to official figures 255 Bengalis were massacred in Mandai, while foreign presses, independent sources and eyewitnesses put the figure anywhere between 350 and 400.

Tripuris never against actual Tripura Bengalis .... They are against the illegal immigrants from Bangladesh which is a serious issue because of which Tripuris lost their political power and now they became the second class citizens of their own land ...Tripuris & Bengalis used to share good sweet relationship during Tripuri Manikya Dynasty era ...And, They r not merely a Tribal, Tripuris were the Hindu Kshatriyas..They r the descendants of Dhruyu(Lunar Dynasty) ... Why focus only on Bengali deaths? Danga me tribals nhi mare the? No one ever talks about the deaths of tribals. Tripura me before independence 70-80% tribals the and today only 30%. Isn't this a clear case of demographic inversion? Why didn't government do something to curb this? If someone comes to your house, occupies your house and tries to erase your identity, and government not only supports but even encourage them, what will you do?

I agree many the Bengalis who came here after 1971 were illegal immigrants & govt. should implement NRC for them. But saying only tribals were natives of Tripura is wrong. Manikya kings administered many Bengali areas & collected taxes from there, & Bengalis who came here before 1971 were mostly from those areas. So kindly stop calling Bengalis who came here during or before 1971 Bangladeshi or illegal immigrants. They are as much Tripurese as you are👍🏻

I never clubbed all Bengalis as bangladeshis. As you can see, 70-80 were Tripuri, while others were general, mostly Bengalis. I should have mentioned that. Yes, NRC should be implemented as soon as possible and all identified either deported or settled in other states.

Those are bangladeshi refugees, who changed the demography of the state.where the indigenous people became minority in their own land. Bangladeshi took over entire administration, political and economical of tripura. If the central government does not take initiative measure it may happen like Manipur. Indigenous people are deprived by the state government in every aspect.

Improper data. You should fetch proper data. Instrument of accession was signed keeping in mind the protection of tribals of Tripura. But after 1971 there's so much infiltration that at present time our population reached 31%. Thanks to the illegal Pakistanis. And your data isn't apt at all regarding the death toll.

First of all... Not only bangalis are migrated. Tribals also migrated from Bangladeshi who lives in hilly areas of Bangladeshi which known as "parbotto chottogram". Chakma, mog, halam , borua Tripura, debbarma tribes also migrated in 70s... And bangali are official language in Tripura from 1500s. Read rajmala. Actually tribes also migrated from 🇲🇲🇲🇳. They are not indigenous... See rajmala....

@@subratakundu5882 Assam' s barak valley which was once kachari kingdom( assamese tribe) is now dominated by bengali ..80% of barak valley population is bengali ..official language of Barak valley is now bengali and now in brahmaputra valley also infront lossing its official language... and when its comes to tripuris they have already loose there original status ....and if you wants to know about unique culture and rituals then you are welcome to visit north east to exprence it i can't explaine it in just one msg and plz visit rural assam buz cities of assam also dominated by them ......it was easy to qstion bro...but its hard to face truth

@@PeterGrinninJust to let you know, the entry fees for Ujjayanta Palace Museum is only 40 rupees. All the coins issued by the Manikya Dynasty had kokborok inscriptions using Bengali script ( little different from modern script, but you can read it ). If you didnt know, the old Tripura Kingdom was twice the size of present Tripura and included many parts of modern day Bangladesh (Cumilla, Noakhali and Chattogram district). The entire trade was with the sultanate of Bengal so obviously your script will be in Bengali. The entire of Europe uses the latin script, what the fuck is the problem if 3 languages (Assamese, Bengali, Kokborok)share the same script? It's funny when some people want to make ADC areas as "Greater Tipraland", without even knowing what Greater means geographically. The Matabari temple issue is something that was done by HC. Bengalis make more sacrifices at Matabari and there's no issue of Buffalo sacrifice with us as it's also done at Durga bari during Nabami. Idk what kind of bullshit news reaches your ears. Criticize the govt on policy, corruption, infrastructure etc which are the real issues for the people. Nobody is going to take you seriously if communal victimization( racial in this case) is all you talk about.

Please don't give bias information. Many Tribals have died too but the government didn't make any records on the death of Tribal people. 1980's Incident was between The Tripura Indians vs The Bangladeshi illegal immigrants but the government took the side of Bangladeshi immigrants. Tribal People residing in Jolabasa, Garjanmura, Madhavbari, panisagar, pecharthal, Danga para , tutamura , melagarh, bishalgarh, etc were slaughtered even the police were accompanying the Bangladeshi immigrants to murder the Tribal people. It was systemic ethnic cleansing.

The report states only 250-300 Bengalis lost their lives and what about Tripuris in Bengali dominated areas in that time those were never counted and never were discussed on how many Tripuris lives were gone? One sides info is not good. Both the communities felt the aftermath but what about the other community who also lost their live no one discuss about it.

As a indigenous of tripura, sir due respect to you ,you are by far the best teacher in unacademy that's good but that doesn't means you know everything sitting somewhere far getting information on desk from trusted sources and now making a video on a basis of some article , newspaper which were manipulated by government of that time .Now come to the point , during 90s Congress were the ruling government in india as all know bengali leader so they only showing you the information they want to show "bengali helping bengali" only showing there side of view and on the other hand we the indigenous couldn't prove or show to the world that what is happening to us ,at that time do you know how many tribal ( indigenous) were killed , 3 or 4 times more than the number of bengalis ..still to this date 2024 our people die but no major media coverage only limited to local news channel of our own, why because Tripura whole administration under bengali community .
