A friend of mine in high school early '70s, had one of these! We used to cruise the cool spots and unfortunately he didn't understand how cool this car was! It had hemi!

I owned one for a short time. The two speed trans was less peppy than the three speed manual models.

I had a 55 two door hardtop. With leather. Only Mopar I ever saw that had a shift lever coming from the dash instead of push buttons. Those 6 volts had their work cut out for them.

The Powerflite shift lever on all 1955 Chrysler products was on the dash, and the push-button control began in 1956 and lasted thru 1964.

My dad had one of those in the late 50s/early 60s (before my time) he said it was fast and he got rid of it due to rust(east coast car)

That car has found a new home in Finland and is in driving condition and registered again.
