Lynchy is one crazy mofo in his LSx powered Toyota doing some MASSIVE skids at Summernats 30! Lynchy can be best described as The People’s Burnout Champ as he gives it his all on the skid pad down under in Australia! These crazy Australian really do know how to do a proper burnout as we’ve seen here, and Lynchy is about as good as it gets when it comes to going CRAZY on the skid pad! We love how fast Lynchy hits the skid pad all while spinning round and round!

Isn't he? He is credited with changing the scene. It used to be all about the slow controlled entry on the brake. Lynchy doesn't even use the brake most of the time. He's all about the 100km/h (60mile an hour) tip in and come out the other side

I'm sure you will. You deserve to be there... When I first saw you doing skids at this level I almost choked! I remember you from the 'hood back in the very late 90's. I knew about the accident, it just blew my mind that you were doing this with the hand controls. Well fucking done, bro. Representing for Perth's northern suburbs ;) Sick car too, I've got a VH myself- one of the fleet anyway! LOL!!! Cheers

That right there ladies and gentlemen is the best burnout driver in the world! No one can touch this dude. The judges and commentary team robbed him by suggesting he tapped the wall on his tip in during the finals, but he never touched it and deserved to win! Lynchy was robbed! Lynchy for PM!!!

peanuttization, yeah because buying $800 tyres just to do a burnout seems smart.. when you can go to a tyre shop ask them for the cheapest tyres and then buy 6 sets for the price of a set of "real tyres" hahah simpleton

Agreed!! Lynch has taken burnouts to a whole new level. Gone are the slow controlled burnouts like what Killa B did. No one cares about them anymore. They need to reward the guys like Lynchy who are prepared to take the risks. The crowd almost rioted too. I just don't know if he hit that wall, I've watched it again and again, I think he cleared it by the skin of his teeth. But I may be wrong... Can't say from this camera angle, but I have seen at least one where it looked like he cleared it by 5 or 6"...

***** show me where he hit the wall? On the live summernats stream they said he might have hit the wall on his initial tip in. But i see no rear damage at all, and after watching it from multiple angles now it looks like he didnt even touch the wall. Yes KILLA B had some damage on his bumper from a slight wall touch.

Your so right, he is the best driver in the scene. He's changed the landscape of burnouts from the moment he started. Gone are the slow entry, controlled burnouts on the brake- he introduced high speed tip ins like no one had ever seen before. He was totally robbed and the crowd almost rioted

+James G Yeah only the illegal street skids are done on 2nd hand tyres, dude. These guys are starting with brand new tyres. If you start with 2nd hand stuff, it doesn't last the 60 second minimum they are judged for. It USED it be like that 20 odd years ago, but they been using brand new tyres for burnout comps for years dude. At this level anyway

A lot of these guys in the top 10 would have a tyre shop sponsor them and give them free tyres. That's why they can afford to pop 10 pairs of brand new tyres in one weekend.

Yotaak a decent radiator Id imagine. They're only running for a minute or so, so the strain on the engine is pretty short

Sometimes they dont and spew their coolant everywhere. Engines blow up ALL the time. Its just what us Aussies do build a car to perfection. THEN DESTROY IT!! Like building a sand castle at a beach just to jump all over it and knock it down. same thing. Some of the cars are award winning show cars and they still get them on the pad and destroy them :D

They should have some industrial fans blowing the smoke away so you can keep seeing the action the whole time. All the smoke is amazing but you can't see the car for a good bit of time when it gets devoured by smoke.
