Larry Larson - a 10-time Drag Week and Rocky Mountain Race Week competitor - shows up to Kearney, Nebraska to set off on his journey that is Rocky Mountain Race Week 2016! 5 tracks, 7 days, and a whole lot of mountain driving! Larry’s twin turbo Chevrolet Nova is making somewhere around 2300 horsepower to the ground all while driving 1000 miles in a week’s time! Larry claims this particular Nova has upwards of 50,000 miles over the course of his journeys on these race weeks! We followed Larry on his journey through the Rocky Mountains in his Nova street car to see if he can prove for the 10th time in a row that he has what it takes to make it through the week!

Because this was the first car to run all 6s at Drag Week. The faster you want to go, the more reliability/money problems you're going to have, plain and simple. Most of these top guys will turn it down quite a bit when they aren't running the couple of 'big shows' they're in each year, anything to reduce operating budgets of these expensive motherfuckers. Just valve springs alone - GOOD GOD!
