I’d take this kind of racing over any track content. I mean where else can you street race on A main road while people are being shot in the backround.

Reminds me of the Old Days here in Detroit 70's Street Racing "All Motor" down Warren off Livernois at the White Castle back in the 70's, at Midnight the Cops from the 10th would Block the road till 3am! DAMN, Those were the Days!

This is real street racing. No pro mods. Hats off to these guys and Detroit for bringing it back to life.

Great for you guys to finally make it out, but as some other said, this was a farcry from what actually exists in Detroit. It was pretty late in the season (Oct 26th) so alot were either broken from a full season or already garaged. Im glad I could help out getting you guys from spot to spot when possible. The "best" detroit racing that is more than 2-5 races are in the more secluded spots like you're used to. Other than when we ran 10 pairs deep on I-475 up in flint I have never seen more than 4 races go off without issue "IN" Detroit. Hope you come back, but it was nice meeting yall either way

This brings back memories, 30 years ago when I lived in Detroit. We used to run around from spot to spot, get a couple races in, cops show up, move to the next spot. Best spots were 14th & Bagley, Jefferson by fort Wayne and John kronk.

I remember back in the day street racing in Detroit. Joy Rd and Outer, Grand River and Tel, Fort St in Del Rey, to name a few,, before cell phones. I would be out all night following the herd. Happy to see you guys out here. Come back in Spring/Summer, and let me know! I want to see some racing!

Reminds me of racing 25-30 years ago. No huge power, normal cars and not being hassled. Well we never had gunfire.

Seeing this brought back plenty memories of old school hardcore racing on French road and Lynch road , east outer drive until the sun came up great weekends on the East side of Detroit !

As a lifelong resident of Detroit I'm excited as all get out to sit down and watch this episode! For myself it's been a few years since tearing up these mean streets. Due to disability the old body has pretty much sidelined myself to stand back and watch. For sure this vid is gonna bring back some good memories! Edit : probably gonna be alot of edits because I wrote the above comment when starting the vid. That orange 55 just feels right! I first saw that car in 04 I believe? If a person don't like that car then they are dead. 2nd edit : second spot starting around 14:40 looks like i-75 service drive north at clay? Can anyone confirm? Later in the vid Kyle is narriating in front of i-75 north entrance ramp sign so I must be close! I forgot the actual street name where launch pad is but that is the exit and name of spot, Clay ave. Saw American Axle plant a little later so yeah, confirmed. This vid is one of my all time fav from 1320 so far! Loving this! Final Edit : I could go on and on about this vid, and apologize for being too long and too nostalgic. However I must say THIS is the classic street racing I remember that always has been Detroit Style! Get it done and gone, awesome attitudes from all present, fast small tire cars, screw the weather/temperatures, and prolly the most important is Everyone gets along no matter who you are! Come back anytime Kyle and the boys at 1320video and give us a little more heads up! You will see much more from where it all started, here in the Motor City!

so my guess for the "street car" full interior cars; there is a large "cruising" culture in Detroit. We have short summers, so getting the cars out and driving when it is nice is a local past time.
