I was just at that same exact drag strip today watching dragsters come by. That's awesome. The top fuels are insanely loud and fast. Pro mods, pro stock, top alchahol, you name it.I saw it all. I was just there today. The fastest top fuel dragster went 329 mph! That's royal purple raceway!

The last race the Lambo won because even if the GTR passed over the line first which it should have done anyways. The GTR jumped the line when they were roll racing. Besides the Lambo put up a better ET and Speed on the last race. You can clearly tell that they both take off at almost the same time but when they get to the line to fully accelerate the GTR is already a car if not more lengths ahead. So the Lambo won fair and square.

At 2:21 , what is the machined aluminum/billet section of the transmission? The rest of the case is cast aluminum and this piece isn't shown in OEM photos.

+Nicholas Shorey A lot of times you will see the same clip because they do a separate feature on each car. This video was about the lambo, but it went all the way to the finals and loss to the gtr so they include that bit with the two drivers. They have probably done a video on the gtr or the whole race.

rewatching that final i saw that mullets car was nowhere near kill mode cuz if you look at all the other runs the car squats hard and pulls on the last run the cars nose barely lifts meaning either he wasnt giving full throttle or the car was on very low boost Hmmm...
