Great racer. I have a signed poster of him racing Billy from SRC in the Falcon at Da Pad. He's also the reason I gave the oil-less turbos from Comp Turbos a try and I've never been happier. Being able to position a turbo in any orientation is a total game changer when it comes to packaging.

Hearing of beater bomb about a year and a half ago makes me a proud owner of an 1982 4 eye fox with the 5.0 302 with the 4 speed manual. My dad bought it when I was 1 year old off his best friend and handed me the keys on my 16th birthday. Still rust free (we live in Ontario canada) and has been off the road since 08 because of dads growing family. Started and ran every year so it wouldn’t go bad. Needs a nice restoration but still has 96,000 original kms on it. Loveeeee that car that’s why I’m a gear head today

I was still in high school at the time and now I am almost 30 and still love street racing have a street/strip car that I love thanks to the motivation from watching you and 1320

Bought my first foxbody when I was 16 back in 2004. 100% stock other than exhaust. And I’ve been hooked ever since lol.

Joey and his team put in the work and it shows. Nothing is by chance in ANYTHING competitive, if you want to win you need to work your ass off. He does and it shows, Beater Bombs record speaks for itself.

Pretty damned good video. I've been impressed with the Beater every since I first saw it on the internet. He keeps working at it and it keeps getting faster. Like he said - there's always fast cars out there somewhere. Love to watch Beater Bomb and the Hoskin's family. I remember the old days when Stormin' Norman paid ROUSH to build his convertible and we had Gene Deputy with the Texas Turbo. Those two started the foxbody craze, and then Ronnie Crawford engineered the 347 - I miss those days but thankful to have seen and met those gentlemen at the track.

My brother had a second Gen firebird esprit with a 400 GTO Judge engine in it. Kids at his high school would actually pay HIM to want to race him. The car was so powerful and fast that our father had to detune the engine. 5.0 foxbodys had no chance against him.

Beater bomb is one of my favorite street racers. Hearing him talk gave me a better insight into what that race program is all about. I respect beater Bomb even more now and will continue to cheer for him at the races I catch.
