don't worry about how overly smooth the superglides are, they have a break-in period and wear down slightly over time. I have a G Pro Wireless with superglides and after some time they're perfectly smooth without being uncontrollable, and the experience is really consistent compared to a fresh pair.

Just wanted to say the black foam that was under the stock skates was also supposed to come off (should see the screw holes underneath) if not it could have some tracking issues. But enjoy the new mouse!

you are supposed to remove the other layer you left on the glides it will affect the sensor and you were supposed to remove it until you see screws and remove all glue with alcohol wipes

Could've just gotten an artisan hien mousepad because it has a surface that lets you move your mouse quickly and accurately. It is also durable and comes in different sizes. The bottom of the pad prevents it from slipping.

Get an artisan zero since its a very good control pad, a lot of pros use and it will balance out the superglides as well. It has very good stopping power

yeah he could although the superglides will make the pad feel very inconsistent over time when it gets dirty, this can make it very distracting in games vs if you just had say core pads or tiger ice where the pads would wear down and feel smooth on the pad

i hope everyone that has a model o sees this. you can use tweezers or anything similar to carefully pry off the back plate and then u can easily clean the mouse. it snaps right back on when ur finished and if u do it right there is no damage. also tip for taking the back plate off start at the top left or right corners and go down the side of the mouse

@waterblade4638 rather than actually naming any mice that are better, you'd rather say things to make you sound different. the updated hero sensor is still one of the best out there. you can read and watch any mouse review. the sensor is perfectly fine and even then, the sensor isn't the only thing that will decide whether or not a mouse s good or not

this is vey relatable, Ive used a model o for a long time and it became dirty and the sens were really fast and slippery. I got an superlight and it seems to have fixed the problem. I also think that the superlight has a higher shape so my thumb doent really have contact with the mousepad.

Now all you need is to build a custom keyboard and u have goat peripherals. Although they are hella expensive, (i know from experience) they feel so nice and sound even nicer. Just a suggestion. I have built 2 so far and its honestly a good investment if you have the money for it. Its also a bit of a tedious process, but doing some research could help.

the clicks on the g pro x are louder as they uus mechanical switches (basically that last a huge amount of time ive been using it for the past 5 years) otherwise my model o - switches stopeed after instense level building in fortnite after 2 years! great choice for the mouse tho

u were supposed to use heat (like hair dryer or mini heater) to take skates off properly and mine aren’t perfectly aligned either 2 months in idk what i feel abt the skates, i would get a glass pad to use them with, or superglide pyre 100% skates not the *superglides which u got if u want a more normal mouse feel

hey some advices here from a guy who knows a little bit about mouses and mousepads, i start saying that the logitech gpx is a great mouse but it has a little problem, the switches, those switches are reporting double clicking problems since the mouse came out, so you could change them for the japanese version of the switches or the kailh 8.0 switches, and the mousepad is nice but you should have bought an artisan one, i suggest you buy the artisan hien xl that is a balance between fast and slow or the Artisan Raiden that is pretty fast (good for fn)

the whole reason (well not whole but a big part of the reason) for there being an influx of gaming mice at premium price points at the moment is weight - it will make your aim a lot better. however the mouse you have there is honestly pretty heavy - industry standard for an expensive mouse at the moment is around 55-60g.

@@Milkalternate certain people (including me) find that it is a good enough reason, and also, it is fun to mess around with what you like, plus you can mod your mice. I have also 3d printed a shell for one of my mice so that it can be lighter. In the same way that some people think that spending money and time on gaming is useless but some people find that it is good because it is fun, people find that testing and reviewing mice is fun.

ngl prem... ur a good youtuber and all but I used a model o wired for like a year and since it was white it would get stained sometimes but it would never gunk stuck in the holes so i think u js need a grip towel. (if u don't know what a grip towel is, just take a clean rag and run it under super cold water, then ur gonna ring it out as much as possible, then let it sit for like ten minutes, after the ten minutes are up u can put it somewhere on ur desk and when ur hands start to sweat just squeeze the towel and within like half a second it will make ur hands completely dry, it will help ur performance in game and stop ur mouse and keyboard from getting as dirty)

yea theres so much hype around the superlight as like the god mouse, but it's just a good all-rounder; it doesn't do any one thing perfectly but it does everything well which is why it's so popular. Not saying the mouse isn't good, it's just a very safe pickup which isn't really special other than its weight

1. Superglides need time to breakin since they are glass and are new. 2. Get a new mousepad. You are using a $5 mousepad and if you pair the glass skates with something like a artisan zero or artisan hien mousepad, you will notice that you can be more precise since they are generally control pads and the glass skates pair perfectly with them. 3. If you don't like the superglides, just buy some Tiger Ice mouse skates for the superlight. Gives the best glide without needing to break in (or at least doesn't take nearly as long as superglides do and it will be more consistent over time).

From my 2 experiences, the model O sucks. Right now i'm using it (i'm planning to buy a g502 hero,) and when i flick the mouse randomly disconnects somtimes, the other time the mouse kept randomly double clicking and the side button the back stopped working. (oh yeah prem the brown stuff on your mouse is oil from your hands)

To solve double clicking turn up debounce time and for the disconnecting thing I had that problem I just starting playing wired

It took awhile for me to get used to my G pro wireless because I used to use a model D. But there is a software and you can change the settings like DPI and check the battery. I recommend getting it to change your setting and get used to it.

changing sens and dpi doesnt get over the fact that he bought glass skates that reduce friction to the point where its mainly suitable for tracking aim but no longer for flicks. It will take about 2 months of wearing them out to make them slow enough to click time with them
