Great match, great video. Personally, I really appreciate it when you show what happens during the breaks---the medical help, the milling crowd---I learn a lot from your work. To be perfectly honest, I'm a bit surprised that the ref has green hair! Gave me a big smile when I saw it. Have you ever interviewed the referees? I would love to hear what they experience and learn by doing this. Thank you as always for your beautiful work. Much appreciated.

Thank you for the feedback as always. Most folkstyle matches don't have any breaks-this one was very unusual in the number and length of breaks because of the bleeding situation. I've never done an interview with officials, but I am starting to get a few requests, so I'll give it some thought.

Good match. Nothing malicious just a bloody nose. Miller fought through it and the referee handled the situation nicely.

Can the referee stop the match if the bleeding doesn’t stop, and would it be a forfeit. Seeing blood makes me faint, I couldn’t continue that game.

Technically, we have the discretion to default the match to the opponent if the number of timeouts becomes excessive in our subjective opinion, but since there is a limit of five minutes of cumulative blood time, it would be difficult to justify terminating a match before all five minutes are used up. Here is what the rules say: "Any contestant who is bleeding will be charged with blood time. The number of time-outs for bleeding is left to the discretion of the referee. If bleeding is not stopped within a cumulative time of five minutes, the match shall be terminated and the opponent shall be awarded the match by default." "Blood time. If a contestant bleeds, the wrestler will be charged with blood time which is a maximum of five minutes cumulative throughout the match, including overtime."

Too bloody for me. Medical attention was up to wrestler to control and the help was unkind useless to stop this nose-bleed .Wrestling is not about boxing and the GREEN tagged mate “beat-up” rather than wrestled. Not at all what I expected. Otherwise your camera coverage is way above other posts. Can you get less of the audience that distracts and more wrestlers only in close-up photography. Here is my 5 ***** rating at best but edit the bloody shots and most of the audience because of distractions. 😃

@@racayah1925l disagree. It's capturing (rare) moments like nose bleeds, random shots / comments from the crowd and coach interaction that can amplify the match as well as the performances (adrenaline) from the wrestlers. It's all part of the set up. Indeed, that's why the audience is there - they participate not only by viewing but by (hopefully) mild, verbal interaction too. That's entertainment. It's also very important. Otherwise sports teams wouldn't bother selling tickets to their games. They *need* an audience (not just for money) to make the game come alive so it's interesting that the audience distracts you. The buzz of the crowd makes it better, l think. Also, asking for "most of the audience" to be edited out is bizarre and impossible. It's funny you say you want more close ups - l asked for the camera to zoom out on another video! Everyone's different. But these videos are first class so try to appreciate them. And if you don't, try filming yourself, the way you want it. Nothing's stopping you. Go, pick up a camera...
