Why do the guys hate to have the ref raise their arms to acknowledge the win? I see this in every video. Why is this anathema to them?

It's a traditional way to show who is the victor. Probably goes back to ancient Greece or Rome.

Winner prefers to be humble especially in a close match where one bad move could have changed the outcome of the match.

Seems the umps are a little too involved in this match and some calls questionable in green's favor.
