Sheikh Brothers are originally from Hooghly district of West Bengal & came to Guwahati on the invitation of the British as there was no bakery to serve confectionery to the British at that time.

Correction - "Zoo Road Tiniali" is written together, and is an old and now an unofficial name of the location, and isn't separated by a coma. The official name is 'Mother Teresa Road' on 'Radha Govinda Baruah Road'.

Although I don’t smoke , but he sweetly offered me a free ‘Bidi’ once , for which I am thankful, because I found it amusing after I saw a Bidi packet which had a photograph of him and had to ask him if he own the brand , to which he nodded , but I still remain uncertain ( 2 years ago ) . Yeah , I am a local, family has been here for more than 8 decades, and Panbazar has always remained very close to me . Often , early morning I ride my motorcycle in the gullies of Panbazar , and have a cup of Tea near Uzan Bazar .
