HE is cheap too.

This shows the importance of HE and why the HE nerf was great. HE is a tool. Not for general purpose spam. HE shouldn't be used by tanks like 60TP or 110E4 or E100 to spam, and do 300 damage a shot. HE should be an aimed shot for specified tasks like:: 2% HP tanks, to pen light armor, cap reset. And in this case, a 49 HP E100. While Skoda 56 guns aren't killing E100 49 HP with an HE shot, 2 may. 3 certainly will. And no question at all about 4. And the Char futur too? I understand perfectly, hitting E100 for 15-25 damage with HE is pathetic and people don't want to do it. But when the E100 has 49 HP.....15-25 damage isn't so pathetic anymore

@@demetrioshristovski4518 i have had a game torto (me) against 60tp on 17hp tortoise has pretty amazing HE as well. it was the two of us left on a one v one. me hiding right side of tank behind rocks and angling and him sidescraping. on cliff map, down at the low ground at about 200m distance. he couldnt pen me with heat and ran out (most probably) so he started shooting AP and HE. i managed to get him down to 17hp before he hid. that last 17 hp took 14 HE shots of no damage for the 15th to cause 1 fucking damage. i finally run out of HE and by pure luck penned him on the view port (if i remember correctly) neither of us wanted to leave our position to close the distance. HE is useless now. it was not a good nerf. i understand having e100/60tp/e3/e4 doing constant 300-400 by HE is annoying. ok nerf that. dont destroy all HE forever ffs. instead of nerfing to cause 100-250 so it doesnt make that much sense, now it does jack shit

@@pasmas3217 This is because you don't know what you are doing and what you are saying and what you try interpreting. Not trying to be mean, but don't let that detract from the truth in that you are not allowing fact to reign true, but instead are being trolled by fiction. 1) Tortoise doesn't have amazing HE. It has precise and ***high pen HE***. This means the velocity is good, it is accurate, and it has high pen for what HE normally is. But that aside, when its HE does not pen, the yield of the shell, its damage is very low. Especially low for late tier. This is opposite of something like OI, with an HE pen much less, but considerably more spall damage when no pen 2) Shooting tracks, gun, spaced armor with HE means nothing anymore. You can shoot it 100 times and do 0. Stop shooting spaced armor, decals, tracks, guns. HE should be shooting the tank hull itself. If shooting tracks, make sure its a light tank (and 60TP isn't a light) that the tracks are thin (and 60TP tracks are not thin) and that it is close ranged and perpendicular, not acute so you know the HE has good chance to pen through tracks and reach hull behind to deal damage. 3) There are hundreds of examples of HE working as intended now. MaxFPS has a sample testing, of HE shooting object 279E with Soviet 122mm, where he was doing 40~ damage frontally with HE. While this isn't, per se very useful, it shows us that it nevertheless is damage, against superheavy armor level. In Skill4ltu best of Oho 3rd marking video, you see him doing 40~ damage to side scrape 110E3 virtually impossible to damage with any AP/HEAT/APCR, but the HE nevertheless hits. Some damage better than no damage. 4) i can understand your view, i know it must be annoying for causal players in their tanks to no longer be able to spam HE. But this was bad for the game, and had to go. It still is a problem, but not as much a problem as before. The better you become at the game, the more you will realise how incorrect you are concerning this. But if you choose to remain casual, you will remain contemptuous and largely ignorant in the matter.

This is why I love E100. It can troll mindlessly gold spamming players to the maximum. Just turn sideways and listen to the heat sheels shatter on the spaced armor. IS4 can do the same to a degree as well. My favourite is when they kinda stop and try to figure out whats going on, wiggle the gun around a bit and then keep shooting anyway.

@@thiemokellner1893 I agreed with you until you mentioned jumping off a hill ... Why ? Since you play at high tier (8-9-10) , try to battle him. You can try to damage him, track him, distract him or capture the cap or defend it so your team mates can cap it. But suiciding is a dirty move. Either learn and practice to be better or stop playing at high tier.

Capping is part of the game mechanic to win, they even do it in the competitions. Throwing just makes you as bad as the others who went to die uselessly.

And because 330+ HEAT. Also when it comes to gun handling and accuracy the big gun isn't much worse than the small one. In fact from my experience the small gun is much less reliable.

Depends on your caliber and HE pen. If you are playing E50M for example, it wouldn't really work, but that Skoda would've killed him if not from one, then 2 clips for sure
