When the "know it's for the better" starts i go through stages of grief and then break down. I think of my life, of my resilience, of my anger, how i desperately cling to this life that only hurts and hurts and hurts. I imagine myself clutching on to my chest in a fetal position, begging myself to stay. And i always do. Telling myself it's for the better, i'm doing better, i will feel better, it will end, the sun will rise again, i am alive, i am alive. But there's a resignation to it, every fall breaks me, i will never be whole again, someday i will run out of things to ruin inside me, that will be the end, but for now i will try again. And it hurts. Hope hurts.

My dad passed away on New Years of 2022. We were all at the hospital in the waiting room when we got the news that he was gonna go. That completely devastated me and shattered me to pieces. People would tell me that it is for the better than him to suffer in pain more. It gave me 2nd thoughts about how it could be for the better. RIP Dad

After meeting the boy that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with on a sailing trip and him not only living halfway across the world but also having a girlfriend I needed to find the strength to live AGAIN. This song was suggested to me by a friend and I ended up falling in love with it. After not only getting heartbroken by this boy but also loosing my boyfriend to suicide 3 years earlier.

My grandfather died a few weeks ago. I dreamed of him yesterday and to be honest it didn't feel like a dream. It felt like he was actually there and enjoying life while it lasted and my mother was sitting at a corner and crying hard cause she knows what's to come next. The other day when I was returning from University, I saw someone exactly like him, sitting in front of me on the bus. It almost feels like he is somehow trying to communicate or trying to pass some signs to me and my mother that everything is gonna be okay. Don't worry about me and live the rest of your lives happily! I miss him so much.
