@@STgauss3268 the biggest feature of harrier is it's DNA which is derived from D8 architecture which give him an edge in off-road , although it's 4×2 but this is the most capable 4×2 car for offroad

@@Riteshsharma1206 yes, terrain response is also the biggest one, I live in hilly region and this feature comes in handy, I have climb, descend, going to tracks with loose rocks and no tarmac. This system with offroad abs is the same system as in discovery sport which doesn't come cheap, but hector buyers don't realise that and they get hypnotized easily by that big tablet.

मित्र इस प्रकार का वीडियो बनाने के लिए 👍। मैंने अब तक टाटा हैरियर के बारे में बहुत सारे वीडियोस देखे हैं, खूबियां कमीयां भी बताते हैं , लेकिन फीचर्स कैसे काम आते हैं कहां काम आएंगे इस बारे में यह पहला विडियो है। इस वीडियो से पहले के किसी भी वीडियो से मैं संतुष्ट नहीं था । सब सिर्फ interrior, extirror ,प्राइस, कलर, व्हील , सीट ,डिस्प्ले यह ही सब बता रहे थे, कंपनी ने गाड़ी में जो फीचर्स दिए है उनको कब ,कहा , कैसे इस्तेमाल करना है यह वह खूबी काम आती भी हे या नहीं उसके बारे में किसी ने नही बताया।आपके वीडियो से टाटा कंपनी और टाटा हैरियर की और नजदीक आ गया। इस प्रकार की तकनीकी जानकारी आगे भी आप देते रहेंगे इसी आशा के साथ फिर से एक बार 👍👍👏👌

My suggestion would be brake such episodes in parts with short and sweet videos but detailed presentation of each video as after a extent a normal person may tend to loose interest in this video. One thing to be highlighted is I've been in the automotive service industry for more than 18 years and have witnessed customer complaining about brake jaddering felt on the pedal and I've explained it all my life to people having cars with ABS that if in ur car this doesn't happen run to a service center as that indicates a failure of your ABS system as long as the feeling is there it's all good so gr8 to hear that line in your video. 👍👍

Came across this video while going over review on Harrier 2020 by Motor Octane. What I love about the presentation is detailed explaonation and something like as he is explaining to his very own family member or close friend who wants you to make right decision and buy the right stuff. Kudos. I am a noob in auto / cars....drive a humble i10 for the last 8yrs and only 45k KMs :) and always exploring to understand the new car features in the market. Seltos, Hector are all very attractive but then the safety features which matters most are very well covered by MotorOctane. Keep up this good work....Subsscibed as a new fan ☺️

No doubt harrier is good vehicle with spoty looks and 2 disc brakes, but that doesn't mean one should be happy in their own comfort zone and overlooking other vehicle's safety features with 4 disc brakes and classy look.

Tata is a new Normal now compared to what it was earlier. They have studied and applied the observations in their cars & they do reflect. Other automakers are filling their cars with features with the brim , the feature which makes no sense for driving a pleasure. t Probably the feature list with TATA would be not long. But you will get a sheer driving experience with features related to the driving which is the fundamental thing of any car. Plus sturdy on a long run.

Fantastic explanation. Few doubts, 1. How does the ESP work during wheel spinning in water or slushy mud or sand etc. Since Harrier is a front wheel drive car, It cannot transfer power to the rear wheels. 2. The ESP in other cars of this segment doesnt have these 14 modes? 3. How to find the number of ESP modes in any car?

Really informative videos, thanks to you and I would say after seeing all your review on Safari booked the manual top trim got the vehicle just couple of days ago. I would like to know 1) if I disable ESP does it help to boost the milage ? Supposed i am driving with a decent speed limit and the terrain is smooth here in this situation if I turn off esp does it help my milage ? In this situation whether abs will function right? 2) could you create a detail video of trackson control and cruise control on safari. Thanks a lot again .

I have done two drives so far to Mulshi and Lavasa... I could really feel the effect of switching to rough road mode and while driving down Dasve ghat the HDC worked like a charm!! The Harrier is a machine meant for driving enthusiasts.. I am extremely happy with my decision to buy this

took a test drive today or the xza variant. took it to very rough roads and on to bish filled fields. This is a beast. Made like a tank. The bonnet needs a lot of effort to take up cos it's really heavy. A proper machine. Proud of what Tata has made. Didn't need to slow down, think of the ground while the steering felt light and attentive. Beautiful car. My next car.

It can be true as 140 is a bs4 engine n even i had questioned about ds to some of the experts n they too hv given me ds clue n advised me ro wt for bs6 engine....bs6 engine will also hv much improved nvh levels....so lets wt fr bs6 new engine

That is going to be the 7 seater car tentatively named as 'Buzzard'. It'll be a segment above Harrier. And it is most likely to be launched by 2019 end or early 2020.

This video is very useful and helpful, I will study first all full forms, then to drive with practical modes. Each and every mode is for different applications like, hill side, immediate brake, lane change, raininy, wet road, like ambulance, stony road, we have to remember all one by one. Excellent video...Thanks Even ford Freestyle has Traction control, Anti Roll over protection system, but ppl hardly pay attention to these safety features and buy more visible featurewali gadi...sad part

Hi! I am confused which one to book! Harrier or Hector! I have driven harrier but not hector as it’s not available in! I am 6feet and found leg fouling with dashboard lower portion! But still I like the presence of harrier! Does Hector ESP is same as of Harrier or not! Pl suggest final option! Thanks

Thanks for providing these details, I recently purchased Harrier XZA, I found two issues. 1 i get some kind of sound when the vehicle is stop to start time. 2 I notice lot of smoke deposit near the front rim, dont know why.
