The crooked refs gave it all they had, but 100 yards of penalties on Baylor still wasn't quite enough to get Bowlsby the result he wanted.

Once Baylor cleans up the penalties (especially the ones that keep their opponent's drives alive), and starts making more of those big-time tackles-for-loss in the backfield, they will become the team to beat in the BIG12. While it seems like Baylor should have blown this game wide open, I'll take an "ugly" win over a "pretty" loss any day. Just ask an Iowa State fan.

Still early in the season. I don't think they will be great by any means but I do think they will win 5 or 6 more games.

Actually, Baylor simply outplayed Iowa State. But at least the refs tried hard to not let that happen.

My personal favorite, QB had the ball on the knee during the 2 point conversion and the refs let it play out. Garbage officiating, not one holding penalty against Iowa State and they were dragging defenders to the ground all game. Matt Campbell is a douche who chews way too much blue bubble gum and Brock Purdy is the most average college QB I've ever seen. Thats why your 2-2 and you'll never be more than an average team in an average state.

watching the game live was infuriating, the center for iowa state held 7 times without a call and trestan ebner was down on the fumble and the kickoff from the 50 after the failed 2pt was about to be from the 35 until someone called the box. the refs were trying to sell out and probably should be investigated for the game
