I'm from India and my mother tongue is Bengali. I love reading world literature. If I read the literature from each country, I feel like I am traveling in each country. Even so, I have just started writing stories and poems in Bengali language. The more I read world literature, the more I feel enriched. Thanks for introducing so many Chilean Authors. I will definitely start reading Chilean literature....😊

Obviously...Literature is called the mirror of society and culture. Through literature we are getting to know each other's culture and we are building our own society called " Book Tube". An ideal place for book lovers. 📚

I remember reading the old man who read love stories in high school, and I found it gros but I might need to try it again. I also read Roberto bolaño 2666 and it was absoultely brutal and a bit repetitive...

You found it gross? Gosh you're making me rethink it now. It's been so long since I read it. I remember mostly the themes of nature. I have definitely no interest in reading 2666, but my cousin told me about the detective Salvajes novels, which I might try.

Ten Women sounds amazing! I’m definitely picking up Violeta this month, and will be my first Allende (though I do have 2 more of hers on my shelf) How To Order the Universe was such a charming book. A lot of authors here that I need to check out!! Great video matey. 🧡

Happy Independence Day to Chile! I hadn't heard about the controversy surrounding Neruda but why am I not surprised! I have read Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair and I did like it. Oooh, I have Violeta on my TBR, I had no idea the author was Chilean. I heard someone review it (or perhaps read about it in a Goodreads article) and it sounded really interesting. Ten Women sounds very interesting, do you think you'll read it this year? Either way can't wait to hear your thoughts about it. Ooh I have seen a good review about Nervous Systems from Marc Nash, it really made me want to pick p the book, hopefully this will serve as a reminder to do so this time.
