But when it's not your property because you are renting, we don’t want to upsetting your landlord and risking your deposit.
So in this video, I am going to go over 14 common design annoyances I’ve observed in rental properties, that can be tackled in a way that doesn’t cost you your deposit and will give your aesthetic taste a break.

This video came out at the perfect time for me :) I’m moving into a temporary rental for 5 months, and it doesn’t make sense to do any big changes for such short period, yet it’s still long enough to try and make this place feel like home. Thanks XXX

I went overboard hanging pictures all over the place after i painted my walls. Think a little more thought and design would have served me better. Now I have to patch those holes you described in your video! Your good advice was so necessary, methinks! *sigh*

If you’re putting tiles for a backsplash on a piece of plywood, how would you then attach this to the wall w/out nails showing? Or would you attach the backing piece to the wall, then put tiles on that backing piece?

If it were me, I would glue the backing piece to the wall with the bare minimum amount of glue (perhaps 4 dots, 1 at each corner), so it stays in place, and when it comes time to remove it, I know exactly where to scrape it off the wall!
