Well, the director did confirm that their relationship is geared towards platonic romance but I also think its better this way because life is already dark enough for both of them, if their love were to be genuine fluff then it would shine through and be somewhat a solace for both of them, only in the case for both of them of course.

And when I've actually started to watch that show I was like wtf this is not what i expected! show is brutal and bloody and dark and cruel and depressing and toxic and omg poor will. still very good series though

I read the book one more time and the fact that Hannibal says the sentence "If I saw you everyday for the rest of my life forever I would remember this time" to Clarice in the original version makes, imo, Hannigram even more canon since, in the serie, Will = Clarice or kind of. So, Will and Hannibal are now in Buenos Aires, living a domestic life, getting to know each other on a physical level. Will will soon speak French and Italian. And, if you are lucky enough, you could spot them enjoying an opera but, be careful, never get to close to them.

Maybe Season 1 Hannigram is being subtle, but season 2 is full on flirting, and season 3 is LITERALLY, Hannigram breaking up, being salty about the breakup, getting back together, breaking up again, missing eachother, getting back together..... just.... just JESUS. GAY. G A Y. I really hope my babies are happily married, living in a non-extradition country, killing people in their free time, and cuddling at night after long sessions of intense primal sex now. Is all I want for them.

LOVED IT! Hannigram is one of my fav OTPs but you forgot one important moment: After they were kidnapped by Mason and escaped, they went to Will's place, and Will said "I’m not gonna miss you. I’m not going to find you, I’m not gonna look for you. I don’t wanna know where you are, or what you do; I don’t want to think about you anymore. Good-bye, Hannibal." Will leaves expecting Hannibal to escape but instead Hannibal surrenders himself to the FBI and tells Will "I want you to know where I am. And where you can always find me." Purposely surrendering himself so Will will always know where he is and think about him. THE FEELS

Taki chin I gushed on about that scene for a while to my brother, it was so beautiful :') But I worded it as, "Will broke up with Hannibal. Will expected Hannibal to run away, but he stayed and surrendered himself. While he was getting arrested, he looked at Will in the eye and said, 'if you ever want to talk to me again... you'll know where I am.'"

oh! If you think in that scene and in the end of the 3rd season, when the dragon is "dead" and Will is saying goodbye to Hannibal before going home (the "It was good to see me?" scene) and Will told Hannibal that he 'broke up' with him because he knew that Hannibal will never stop running if he belives Will will chase him... They really did a good job with this script, everything have a reason... and then they go and cancel it 😠

My favorite Will/Hannibal scene from the first half of the third season is when Will joins Hannibal in the gallery....and Hannibal smiles at him and says "If I saw you every day from this point on, I would remember this day....." (or something like that)......I'm terrible, but this is the definition of love. All of the selfishness and selflessness that comes with it.

It’s because the novels that this story comes from says it’s not true. The only reason this “relationship” is in the show is because it relates to the director. In the books Hannibal kills will. Even in red dragon which this is all based off of, Hannibal kills him as well. Sooooooo it can’t be be an official couple. The ark says it’s not.

Well Brian Fuller says Hannibal is in love with Will but Will straight. But you have to take to into account will mind merges with hannibal's( who is nassistic physopath)and hannibal is bi. So yeah it's a romance and canon so people need to get over it. And Brian Fuller said they survived that cliff thing . So much like the book's version were Hannibal and Clairese ( sorry i don't how to spell her name ) get their sorta happy ending so do this Hannibal and Will.

kudos to the two of them but I have to say how Hugh Dancy remarkably portray the changes that Will has undergone from one who is rather like a nerd and sorta timid looking in the beginning of Season 2 to someone who looks kinda evil a bit at the end of Season 3. I would like to believe they have both managed to change each other.

Exactly!! I think Hugh Dancy’s performance tends to get overshadowed by Mads’ Hannibal (he’s amazing don’t get me wrong) BUT Dancy’s portrayal of Will’s transformation is a thing of beauty. The subtlety of his performance of always teetering on the edge of sanity and insanity is a pleasure to watch 🥰🥰🥰

The very important part was missed, when Will said to Hannibal that was not gonna look for him anymore and did not wonder where he was. Hannibal then surrendered to the police because he wanted Will always to know where he was. It meant that Will was more important for him than anything.

It's so beautiful because what happened in Mizumono was exactly that, Hannibal feeling betrayed that Will cooperated with the FBI to trap him and here? He willingly surrendered his freedom just so Will knew where to find him and never forget him... Excuse me I'll go cry in a corner

This is beautifully haunting. Their relationship is incredibly unique. I love how despite how much Will avoids eye contact he makes eye contact with Hannibal since day one. He looks blown away every time Hannibal grabs his face. So cute.

#130 : yes... just yes... more seriously, they are the darkest and the more complex characters I've ever seen inside a serie, and I could never forget them, because they have a relation so powerful and so strange that you just can't forget them. And your video is the best i've ever seen about Hannigram. It was awesome, and I usually do not feel emotional when i'm watching this kind of stuff, but that one make me cry like a baby. If you look up 'Hannibal August 2017' there's a ton of articles on it. short summary(? idk what you call it in English haha): Bryan hoped it would be on August 2017, but the tricky part is coordinating everyone's schedule. Bryan himself has two shows to work on, so it would be difficult. We as the Fannibals need to stay strong and hope s4 comes true!

After 5 yrs I came back here to watch this just to get my heart broken again nooooo I need season 4! That "He left us his broken heart" and "He misses us" 😭and to think he was talking to himself. In my opinion, he had much guilt and was in a state of indenial with his feelings that he had or needed Abigail to convince him that it was her that misses Hannibal and wanted to find him. Not to mention when Will said that he didn't want to find, look and think about Hannibal anymore. ANGST LOVE IT PICASSO BUT NEED SEASON 4

I adore how beautiful this relationship is. Forget labeling it anything modern. It is deeply romantic, sexual, and erotic, and it transcends genders. It's even more beautiful because it's not heterosexual. I know it's also equally as disturbing, and a total Stockholm syndrome situation, but humans are complicated

I kind of understand why Hannibal did all those things to Will. Especially after watching this video. Slowly connecting the dots, you know. Of course, there were times when I just yelled out "What the actual fuck Hannibal?!", but it makes sense. To me, at least. Twisted, psychotic, yet perfect. Don't know how to explain it shortly..

I've learned a lot of the songs from this video over the last few months. Ludovico Einaudi's music is so simple but beautiful. Funny thing is, when my teacher was demonstrating one of his songs, I recognized it from this video and yelled, "HANNIGRAM!" Really loudly... When you're a Fannibal, the most random things will make you think of the show... Stags, fishing, teacups... Such a beautiful video and show. ❤️
