06/28/2024. Cyclenbatt lithium battery now only has a 5 percent coupon. No other discount on Amazon. Company called Solorage X has a 100 AH mini for $169.95 and then has a 20 dollar coupon, so it is $149.95. Looks similar to the Cyclenbatt. You're welcome!

Thank you for the review. I have been looking at 100 AH batteries and the price was hard to pass up. I had some points and a coupon so it was $42.00 out the door. I got 29% off. The 5% and 35% is no longer available.

Yeah I ended up ordering 2 of these batteries. That is a great price. Here in South West FL you can always use more battery power. and it's hurricane season so I am just adding to my preparedness.

Ordered mine before field day and it was held up by Fed Ex shipping until after field day. My price delivered after discounts and tax was $176. I must have missed a better deal? I like the battery - glad I got one. For 100 AH it is a bargain. I also ordered a LifeP04 charger that goes to 20 AMPS. It will take 20 amps on a charge with no big increase in temperature. I have a Bioenno charger and decided not to use it.

Yeah typically with the budget batteries they don't actually have low temp cutoff. $150 is screaming deal, that'd be awesome for trolling motors or a small backup bank.

Hey there Mike, The low temperature protection did not kick in, but isn't that because it was rated from -4 F towards 140 F and your freezer only got it to (+)22 F? 🙂 In celcius that would be -20 C to +60 C.... If I am not mistaken, you need a better freezer! 73 from overseas!

That rating is for current output. It is really bad to charge a LiFePO4 battery below 32F/-0C. Low temp protection should have prevented it from charging at 22F.

I've been using a lipo4 for 100 amp power battery for my trolling motor.. It was a power Queen but I'm sure it's similar works fine

As the battle moron I am is there any concern with over charging the cell is that a potential issue with a bms that doesn’t trip

A good BMS will protect the cells from both over charging and low voltage. With this one, who knows if it will actually work as designed? You'd have to try pretty hard to over charge them unless you're using a variable power supply and are pushing over 14.6 volts into it. Even then it generally takes a LOT before you'd have a catastrophic failure of a LiFePO4 cell. I pushed 13.8 volts into a single cell for about a half hour and it didn't do much more than puff up. Per the big yellow arrows in the video showing you where it is and how to get it, it's directly under the 5% coupon. In big green highlighted letters that say save 29%. Click "Redeem".

You only got the battery to 22F and it's rated to -4F so maybe it won't trip until it gets colder. (Edit) OOPS, just read the description. Yeah, it should have turned off.

I have not. I suppose you could do it somehow, but I really like my battery boxes. I can't see how a bag would be very practical, but I could be wrong.

@@hamradiotube I always find myself puting the batteries in Nylon or other fabric soft cases, which protect them, can be fire retardant, and dont add too much weight. The challenge is to add the plugs, fuses and other ports. Also the bags have multiple pockets.

That deal didn't last long. I've noticed a serious drop in prices on batteries and even more on those all in one solar power banks. It would be great if you could survey the current deals and highlight the better gear. I would love to use any affiliate links you provide. I want to get a couple solar panels. The video may premiere in 4 hours from time of me writing this but the price is already wrong and has almost doubled... This is what happens when you post link backs from review videos as the sellers can see that activity and will elevate the price until activity slows. Additionally, the sellers and makers will send out items to reviewers like this channel with a fictitious price and once your views are published later they elevate the price. This practice is blatant and common knowledge.
