He hardly some poor innocent man they framed. Linda and Stacey saw the opportunity to get Dean out their lives while protecting themselves. it karma for what he did to Linda, Roxy, Jade and Jean.

Storyline dosent add up , why dosent dean suspect Stacey when she randomly turned up to his flat wanting to put the past behind them.And the policemen when he was in the kitchen he said Jean , Stacey , and Harvey was last at deans flat yet he only asked for jeans reason, not why Stacey and Harvey had been there. And why didn’t dean admit he tryed to flee the country because he didn’t want it getting out that he was messing with jades meditation, still sick but wouldn’t he rather be accused of that then being a killer, and that fact it could get him off. He would be Believed because the police know he was messing with the medication so would make sense that was the reason he was trying to flee because he didn’t want to lose jade.

This is similar to when Janine murdered Barry and got away with it, but got arrested for being falsely accused of Laura Beale’s murder. Dean is almost like a male version of Janine - hated by most, a lost soul looking for love and acceptance, but doing terrible things in order to get what they want

kinda interesting but remember when everyone was hating on Ravi for making Suki think she killed Ranveer and were actively rooting against her getting sent down for a crime she didn't commit despite the fact she had gotten away with framing her own son later resulting in his death. yet even tho Ravi's crime by the same logic in this story line should be seen as lesser since he killed a serial rapist who abused him his whole childhood whereas Suki's actions should be seen as worse given Jags was mostly innocent. so yeah my question basically is what's the fandom's reasoning here? most people can agree Dean is an overall worse person than Linda and deserves to go to prison more since he hurt innocent people for bad reasons unlike Linda who hurt someone in a technically worse way but for an overall better reason. but when it came to Ravi and Suki's situations most people felt the opposite despite that kinda being the same where Ravi technically committed a worse crime but it was against a monster who abused him whereas Suki technically committed a lesser crime but it was against an innocent person for very crappy reasons. so yeah I am legit curious what the fandom's logic is here? as I remember saying at the time that Suki deserved to get sent down for Ranveer more than Ravi for the reasons stated above but most people argued tooth and nail that despite her crimes it was still wrong to send her down for something she didn't Do.

The famdom's opinions change based on who's the perpetrator. People get mad that Dean got away for his actions but are happy for the women to get away scot free despite them not being innocent even before Christmas.

Never liked the character Dean (not my view on the actor who’s a good man), but they should never have turned him in to a rapist and someone who would neglect his own daughter. They should have kept him the happy-go-luck flirt he originally was. I hope Dean is proven innocent of Keanu’s murder, because it’s a stupid storyline. As in reality the DNA of all the women would link them to the murder of Keanu.
